Rejuran eye Korea: what Rejuran i can and cannot do under your eyes

I wrote this because Rejuran i is often booked for dark circles as a whole. Under the eye, darkness can come from pigment, vessels, a hollow or thin skin, and Rejuran i works on only one of those.
Rejuran i is the version of Rejuran made for the eye area: a polynucleotide (PN) gel placed in small amounts in the thin skin under the eye. It is mainly for skin that has thinned and crinkles, and for fine lines. It does not fill a hollow, shrink a fat bag or fade brown pigment, and results vary from person to person.
What Rejuran i is, in plain words
Rejuran i comes from PharmaResearch, the Korean company that makes the Rejuran line. Its product page lists one ingredient, PN (polynucleotide), packed as 1cc in a syringe. The intended areas are the face, especially around the eyes and mouth, plus the neck, décolleté and hands.
PN is a purified DNA fraction taken from salmon. It does not add volume the way a filler does. On our Rejuran page the aim is to improve the epidermis and dermis together, on skin that has thinned and lost resilience.
People search for it as Rejuran eye, Rejuran under eye or Rejuran i. All three mean the same product, which our price list carries as Rejuran i (eye). If you typed Rejuran eye Korea into a search bar, this is the line you were looking for.
Why a separate eye version at all? A 2016 review of under-eye dark circles calls the lower eyelid skin one of the thinnest parts of the body. With little or no fat beneath it, the vessels and muscle below show through, and ageing changes look stronger there than on the cheek.
Which under-eye problems it suits, and which it does not
The same review describes dark circles as having several causes at once: bone and ligament structure, hollowing, vessels, pigment and the skin itself. Rejuran i belongs to the last group. The table shows where each cause goes on our list.

How Rejuran i is injected here
A first visit here runs 60 to 90 minutes including the scan and consultation. A booster can usually be done straight after the consultation, on the same visit, and you decide only once you have seen the quote.
- Scan and consultation. The 3D Meta-Vu scan, then the plan, including how many cc the doctor suggests and why.
- Cleansing. Makeup and sunscreen come off around the eyes, and the skin is disinfected.
- Numbing. A topical anaesthetic goes on first. Our Rejuran page lists the sensation as moderate.
- The injections. The doctor places the gel in small amounts, point by point, in the skin under the eye.
- After. You leave with small raised bumps along the treated line, which usually settle in one to two days.
In a 2026 study of under-eye PN injections in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, the product went into the skin itself, along the lines, through a fine 30G needle. That study used a different PN product, not Rejuran i, so read it as a guide to the method rather than a promise.
The bumps are the gel sitting in the skin before it spreads. They are also the reason a session is never booked on the evening before a dinner or a photo.
How many sessions, and how far apart
Rejuran i sits under the same treatment on our site as Rejuran, which plans a course of three to four sessions, spaced two to four weeks apart. One session is a trial rather than a treatment. The effect is listed as lasting three to six months after a course.
The under-eye study points the same way. Patients had two sessions three weeks apart, a third if lines were still moderate or severe, and rated their lower eyelids best at three months. Its authors call this an early signal from an uncontrolled case series.
- One trip only: a first session, with the rest of the course on a later trip if you come back.
- Two trips a few weeks apart: two sessions, each charged at the single-session rate.
- Staying longer, or living in Korea: the full course of three to four, two to four weeks apart.
A second injection a few days later on the same trip does not fit how courses are spaced, so we do not suggest one. A Rejuran eye Korea plan for a single week is honest about being a start.
Swelling, bruising and your flight home
On our Rejuran page the downtime is small bumps for one to two days. Under the eye they show more, because the skin is thin and hides very little.
In the under-eye study, the most common complaints two days after a session were mild swelling and discomfort, with a few minor bruises. No delayed problems such as lumps or lasting swelling were found at one, three or six months. That is one group of 42 people, and your skin may react differently.
Flying is not the issue in itself. What matters is how the area looks when you board, and whether you are still in Seoul if something needs a second look.
- Book Rejuran i in the first half of your trip, not on the last afternoon.
- Leave at least one open clinic day between the session and your flight. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
- If you bruise easily, give yourself a few more days, and keep photo shoots off the days straight after.

Who should wait or ask first
State the limit first: if the scan shows a hollow, a fat bag or brown pigment as the main cause, Rejuran i is not the first thing we would suggest. A Rejuran eye Korea booking makes most sense for thin, crinkly skin and fine lines.
- An active infection, cold sore or inflamed spot near the eye.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- An allergy to fish, since PN comes from salmon DNA.
- Blood-thinning medicine or a bleeding disorder, which makes bruising more likely. Never stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
- Recent filler, laser or other injections around the eyes, or isotretinoin now or recently.
