Want to know the Korea Rejuran Healer procedure steps in order, and whether the little bumps will be gone before your flight home?

Read this before you book your hotel nights in Seoul.

By the end you'll know each step from scan to aftercare, how recovery looks day by day, what reviews get right and wrong, and what decides the cost, so you can choose a trip length that suits your skin and your budget.

Hello, I'm Dr. Jang Dong-hoon, Founder & Medical Director of THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul.

I consult, plan and treat myself, and the consultation here begins with a 3D scan of your skin, not with a price list. The clinic is a 2-minute walk from Nonhyeon Station Exit 5, and you can message us in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

I'm writing this because travelers often book Rejuran for their last afternoon in Seoul, and the injection marks are most visible in the first day or two.

The order itself is short: scan and consultation, cleansing, numbing cream, the injections, then soothing and home care.

If you're not sure how your dates line up, send one daylight photo of your face without makeup and your arrival and departure dates on WhatsApp, with the one question that worries you most. A photo and two dates are enough to start.

What happens in the chair, step by step

Boosters like this ask the skin to make its own collagen instead of borrowing volume from a gel, which is why the result builds slowly. The Rejuran treatment page on our site covers the treatment itself; here I'll focus on the day.

If you arrived here after seeing Rejuran creams and ampoules in Seoul shops, the cream and the injection are different products. Everything below is about the injection.

Here are the Korea Rejuran Healer procedure steps in order, as they usually run on the day:

  1. Scan and consultation. At our clinic the consultation begins with a 3D skin scan, before any talk of how much product or what it costs. The scan shows texture, pigment and redness that a bathroom mirror flattens out.
  2. Cleansing. Makeup and sunscreen come off, and the skin is disinfected before any needle touches it.
  3. Our menu also includes Rejuran HB, a low-pain type, for people who dread the sting.
  4. Injection. The product goes into many tiny, shallow points across the area. For a full face the injecting itself often takes well under half an hour.

5.

Is the scan really needed for a booster? I think so. Under-eye skin that is already thin, an acne flare, or pigment that a laser should treat first can each change what I'd inject, or whether I'd inject at all this trip.

The step most people underestimate is the fourth one, because of what it leaves behind.

How long is the recovery after Rejuran Healer?

Every injection point lifts a small raised dot. On a full face that means rows of them, a little like a grid of mosquito bites. That is the gel sitting in the skin before it spreads, and the dots usually flatten on their own as it disperses.

Here is the typical pattern from general practice. It is a pattern, not a promise: thin under-eye skin and bruise-prone skin usually take longer.

How long is the recovery after Rejuran Healer?
WhenWhat you may noticeWhat it means for your trip
The first eveningRaised bumps in a grid, redness, tiny bleeding pointsPlan a quiet evening without photos
Days 1 to 2Bumps flattening, mild tenderness, a bruise in some peopleSightseeing is usually fine; a cap and light concealer help
Days 3 to 4Bumps usually gone; any bruise turning yellowMost people are comfortable flying home
Weeks 2 to 4Skin may feel more hydrated and look smootherJudge the change weeks later, not in the hotel mirror

The bruise is the wild card. Most points don't bruise, but when one does, especially under the eyes, it can take a week or more to fade completely. That single possibility is why I prefer extra days over a tight schedule.

How many days in Seoul should you plan?

Flying itself isn't usually the problem after Rejuran Healer. What matters is how your face looks when you board, and if you'll still be in Seoul should something unusual show up in the first days.

My rule of thumb: book the session early in the trip, never on the last afternoon. Two or three clear days after treatment cover the bump phase for most people. If you bruise easily or want the under-eyes done, give yourself four or five.

Say you're 55, flying in from Sydney with your daughter for five nights, and you want Rejuran on the cheeks and under the eyes. You land on a Friday. I'd suggest Saturday morning for the scan and the session: we're open 10:30 to 16:30 on Saturdays, without a lunch break. Sunday we're closed, which suits a slow day while the bumps settle. By Tuesday most marks have usually faded, and if a bruise does appear under the eye, it still has days to calm before your Wednesday flight. If your only free slot were the morning you fly, I'd suggest we talk about skipping Rejuran this trip.

On weekdays we open at 10:30 and close at 19:30 Monday to Thursday and 20:30 on Friday, with a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00. We're closed on public holidays too, so check Korean holidays against your dates before you book flights.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gives medical travelers similar advice: leave time to recover before the trip home, and carry a record of what was done so a doctor at home can follow up.

Before you lock in the hotel, send your arrival and departure dates on WhatsApp, along with anything else you plan to have done in Seoul, such as a laser or a lifting session, and ask which day of your trip would leave the most time for the bumps to settle.

What do Rejuran Healer reviews get right and wrong?

Forums and review sites repeat a few claims about Rejuran Healer. Some hold up medically, some only half do.

  • “The bumps are gone by morning.” Partly. On the cheeks many people see them flatten overnight. Under the eyes, or where a bruise forms, it often takes longer.
  • “It stings more than other boosters.” Often true, because the injection points are many and shallow. Numbing cream helps, and the low-pain type exists for this reason.
  • “One session and my skin glowed.” An early glow is real for many people, partly from hydration and the skin's healing reaction to the injections. The clinical studies on polynucleotides, though, mostly tested a series of sessions, and texture change builds over weeks.
  • “It's salmon DNA, so it's natural and nobody reacts.” Not true. A natural origin doesn't rule out allergy; if you're allergic to fish, say so before anything is injected.

Reviews can tell you how a day felt. They can't tell you how your skin will respond, which is what the scan and the exam are for.

What decides the cost of Rejuran Healer in Seoul?

I won't give figures here, because a figure without your face in front of me is a guess. These are the factors that move it:

  • Amount. Rejuran is priced by the cc on our menu, and a full face takes more than one small area.
  • Area. Under-eye work uses Rejuran i, the eye version on our menu.
  • Type. Rejuran HB, the low-pain type, is listed separately.
  • Delivery. Rejuran with Dermashine is quoted at consultation.
  • Sessions and combinations. One session or a series, and whether other treatments share the trip.

Pricing by the cc follows the same logic I apply to shot-counted lifting: you should be able to see what you pay for. The published figures by cc are in our Rejuran Korea price guide, and Rejuran side effects and how long they last helps you plan the days after. For your own case, ask on WhatsApp what it would cost, with a photo of the area, or pick Rejuran in the booking form.

Risks, and who should wait

Common reactions are short-lived: raised bumps, redness and tiny bleeding points for hours to a few days, mild tenderness for a day or two, and sometimes a bruise that can take a week or two to fade. Small firm spots can occasionally be felt for longer and usually soften.

As general medical practice, it's wiser to wait or skip if:

  • you have an active infection, acne flare or cold sore where the injections would go
  • you had a laser, peel or other injection in the same area recently
  • you take isotretinoin, or stopped it only recently
  • you're pregnant or breastfeeding
  • you're allergic to fish or to any ingredient in the product
  • you take blood thinners (tell the doctor, and never stop a prescribed medicine on your own)

If something changes after you fly home, such as a lump that grows, increasing pain, warmth, pus or fever, see a doctor at home promptly and show them the product name and the treatment date, then let us know as well. Whether Rejuran suits you is decided in the in-person exam, and I go through the details in bumps, allergies and when I say wait.

Why the scan comes before the needle

Of all the Korea Rejuran Healer procedure steps in order, the scan is the one travelers most want to skip. A skin booster looks like the simplest item on a menu, which is exactly why it gets booked without a look at the skin. The 3D skin scan shows what a selfie hides: pigment under the surface, redness, and texture across the whole face. I've written separately about what a 3D scan sees that your photo cannot.

The same treatment is not repeated on everybody: the cc, the area and the type are planned around your skin. You can see the clinic, the doctor page and the treatment groups on THE Beautiful Clinic's English homepage.

When you're ready, send one daylight photo of the area on WhatsApp and the one question you most want answered, for example how many cc your cheeks are likely to need. You can ask before booking anything, and we answer messages within 24 business hours. When you come in, I'll go through your scan with you and recommend what fits your skin and the days you have.

The short version

  1. The order: 3D scan and consultation, cleansing, numbing cream, injections, then soothing and home care.
  2. Small bumps usually settle within one to three days; a bruise, if one forms, can take a week or more.
  3. Book the session early in your Seoul trip, not on the last afternoon.
  4. Cost moves with the cc, the area, the product type, the delivery method and the number of sessions.

Questions patients ask

Does Rejuran Healer hurt?

Most people feel a sting at each injection point, more under the eyes than on the cheeks. Numbing cream reduces it, and our menu includes Rejuran HB, a low-pain type, for people who are worried about the sting.

When can I wear makeup again?

The usual general advice is to wait until the next day and keep it light while the bumps are still visible. Clean hands and clean brushes matter more than the product itself in the first days.

Is it safe to fly home the day after the injections?

Flying is not usually a medical problem after a skin booster. The concerns are that bumps or a bruise may still show, and that you will be far from the clinic if a reaction appears, so two or three clear days are a better plan.

How many sessions will I need?

I can't say before seeing your skin. Published studies on polynucleotides mostly used a series of sessions spaced weeks apart, and how many make sense for you is planned after the 3D scan and exam.

Can I combine Rejuran with a laser or a lifting treatment on the same trip?

Often yes, but the sequence matters, and recent fillers, threads or lasers change the plan. Tell us everything you have had done in the last six months and everything you plan to have done in Seoul.

Can I ask questions in English before I book?

Yes. You can message the clinic in English or Bahasa Indonesia on WhatsApp, and the clinic answers messages within 24 business hours.

Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
