What an online consultation covers, and what it cannot
Two things travel well over a messaging app: information about you, and information about us. Everything else waits until a doctor can look at your skin in the room.

You can reach us on WhatsApp, KakaoTalk or LINE. Messages and consultations run in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and the clinic usually answers the same day. A few days of notice is normally enough to hold a slot, though weekends and Friday evenings fill first.
What to send in your first message
Before you message a Seoul dermatology clinic, gather five things. A WhatsApp consultation moves much faster when all of them arrive at once.
- Photos in daylight, front and both sides, with clean skin and no makeup if possible.
- Your Fitzpatrick skin type, so pigment work is planned around it from the first reply.
- Recent fillers, isotretinoin, or any medication that affects healing.
- Your dates in Seoul, and whether you expect to come back.
- The one thing you would fix first, if you could only fix one.
How we decide what to recommend
Depth decides the device, not the brand on the machine. Radiofrequency works in the dermis, HIFU reaches the SMAS, microwave targets fat. We keep eleven platforms so the depth can be chosen before the device is.
Pigment is sorted the same way. Melasma, sun spots and post-acne redness look similar in a mirror and behave nothing alike under a laser. For deeper Fitzpatrick types, picosecond lasers and low-fluence toning carry far less risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation than heat-driven alternatives.

What happens on the day of your visit
- Getting here. We are on the second floor of the Jinryeong Building, 545-12 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu — a two-minute walk from Exit 5 of Nonhyeon Station. Parking in the building is free for patients.
- Skin analysis. The 3D images are captured with light placed around the curve of the face, so the sides read as accurately as the front.
- The consultation. We go through the scan, the photos you sent and your dates. Dr. Jang Dong-hoon is the founder and the only physician listed at the clinic.
- Treatment, often the same day. Lasers, boosters and injectables can usually be done straight after the consultation.
- Before you leave. Aftercare, and the date of the next session if the treatment is built as a course.
We open at 10:30 on every day we are open: until 19:30 Monday to Thursday, 20:30 on Friday and 16:30 on Saturday. Lunch runs 13:00–14:00 on weekdays, Saturdays run without a lunch break, and we are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Treatments with real downtime — fractional resurfacing, threads, Agnes — we would rather you schedule with your week in mind. That is easier to do while you are still at home.
Who should tell us something first
Some details change the plan more than the photos do. Raise them in the message, not on the treatment bed.
- Darker skin tones: give us your Fitzpatrick type, and we will plan the pigment work around it.
- Recent injectables or medication: fillers, isotretinoin, or anything that affects healing.
- Sun and retinoids: avoid both for a few days before laser work.
- Anything else in your medical history: tell us in consultation, before the treatment rather than after.

Shot counts, tip type and the number of areas vary per person, so we confirm the figure at consultation rather than quoting a headline that moves later. Ask for a range in advance and you will get an honest one.

These are list prices in Korean won, and the final figure is confirmed at consultation. That is also the honest limit of an online dermatologist consultation Korea clinics can offer: a range travels well, an exact total does not.
