Visiting Korea
Korea skin clinic without an agent: booking it yourself, step by step
The clinic takes WhatsApp messages directly and provides an interpreter free of charge, so an agent is optional. A first visit takes 60 to 90 minutes, and there is no deposit to book.

Many visitors assume a Korea skin clinic without an agent is hard work: you need Korean, you need to pay a deposit, and you need someone to manage the schedule. At THE Beautiful Clinic all three can be handled by you on WhatsApp. This guide covers what an agent usually does, which parts the clinic handles directly, what the clinic does not offer, and the steps from your first message to the day of the visit.
What an agent does, and what you can do yourself
Agents usually handle four things: booking, translation, planning the days and getting you to the clinic. For one clinic and one visit, most of that can be done directly.
| Task | Through an agent | Directly with THE Beautiful Clinic |
|---|---|---|
| Booking | The agent contacts the clinic | Fill in the booking form on WhatsApp |
| Language | The agent's interpreter | An interpreter stays with you during the visit, free of charge |
| Deposit | Depends on the agent | No deposit; changes by message are free |
| Price | Passed on by the agent | The final price comes before treatment, with no obligation |
| After you fly home | Depends on the agent | Questions on WhatsApp with photos, answered within 24 business hours |
What the clinic does not provide should be said plainly too: there is no airport pickup and no tour package. If either matters to you, the section below covers when an agent still makes sense.
Booking without an agent, step by step
Booking starts with one WhatsApp message. The clinic sends a form, and it is short:
- Your name as it appears on your passport, and date of birth. The consultation starts after an identity check.
- WhatsApp number, nationality and the interpreter language you would like.
- The treatment you want. "Decide after consultation" is a fine answer.
- Preferred date and time, and your departure schedule. The flight time sets the order of treatments.
- Past treatments, including recent ones at other clinics, and allergies. Filler, threads, laser and medicines such as isotretinoin all matter for the plan.
- Companions. Each companion who wants a consultation fills in their own form.
The clinic then checks the schedule and confirms a time. Same-day bookings work when a slot is free, but a first visit has to start 60 to 90 minutes before closing. Messages sent on a day off are answered on the next business day. Before you book anywhere, seven things to check at a Seoul skin clinic for foreigners is a short list worth sending.
Language: an interpreter at no charge
This is the main reason people use agents, and the clinic covers it itself. An interpreter stays with you during the visit free of charge, and you can ask for Bahasa Indonesia when you book. WhatsApp messages can be in English or Bahasa Indonesia, so there is no step that needs Korean.
Dr. Jang Dong-hoon, the clinic's only doctor, plans and performs the treatments, and the interpreter is beside you while the plan is explained. If you want to vet the clinic first, the six questions to ask any clinic in Seoul can go in the same chat.
Getting to the clinic on your own
The clinic is on the 2nd floor of the Jinryeong Building, 545-12 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu. From Nonhyeon Station (Line 7 and the Sinbundang Line), take Exit 5, turn right at the GS25 convenience store and the building is right there, a one- to two-minute walk. Take the lift or stairs to the 2nd floor and reception is in front of you; there is no door code or bell, and there is free Wi-Fi.
- Taxi: show the driver "Seocho-gu Gangnam-daero 545-12" or "Nonhyeon Station Exit 5"
- Car: better not, as parking is difficult; use the subway or a taxi
- Lost: send a WhatsApp message and the clinic will guide you
- Children: can wait in the waiting area

On the day: passport, timing and payment
Bring your original passport, because treatment on the day is hard to arrange without it; companions need their own. Come without makeup if you can, because the 3D Meta-Vu skin analysis is taken on a clean face. Allow 60 to 90 minutes for a first visit, and 2 to 2.5 hours if lifting or a body treatment is planned.
The plan and the final price are given after the scan and consultation, before anything starts, and you are free to stop there. You can pay by card or cash; foreign cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo work. Check with your bank that the card is enabled abroad, and bring a backup card or cash just in case. The foreign-patient VAT refund for cosmetic procedures ended at the start of 2026.
If you are running late, send a message first; the clinic would rather you did not rush. Treatments with downtime belong early in the trip, and how many days each treatment needs before you fly helps you set the order.
When an agent still helps
An agent still makes sense in some cases. If you want to visit several clinics on one trip, need an airport pickup, or want a package with the hotel and sightseeing included, an agent can save effort. This clinic offers neither airport pickup nor tour packages, so those parts are yours to arrange or to hand to someone else.
For one clinic and a clear goal, booking directly is usually simpler: your questions reach the clinic without a middleman, and the answers sit in writing in the same chat. That is the point of a Korea skin clinic without an agent: you keep control of the dates, the plan and the decision.
After you fly home
Questions after treatment can be sent on WhatsApp with photos, and the clinic answers within 24 business hours. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises medical travellers to carry copies of their records and plan follow-up care at home. For skin treatments, note the name of each treatment and device, the date, and for filler the product and amount.
When your dates are set, open the booking selector with the 3D skin analysis ticked and add anything else you are curious about, or send a list from the booking page. If you are not sure where to start, the online consultation guide explains what to send first.
