If you have typed Shurink Universe Korea price into a search bar, you have probably seen a low headline figure and wondered what it actually buys. On our list the answer is a shot count, and the shot count is what changes the bill, far more than the name of the machine. Outside Korea the same device is sold as Ultraformer MPT, so an Ultraformer MPT price and a Shurink Universe price are the same line on our list.
Shurink Universe is HIFU, focused ultrasound that places small coagulation points at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm under the skin without touching the surface. The deepest of those depths reaches the SMAS, the fibrous layer that holds the lower face up.

Shurink Universe Korea price on our list
Two lines carry the Shurink name on our list. Shurink Universe runs on the Ultraformer MPT and is priced from 100 to 900 shots. The earlier Shurink runs on the Ultraformer III and is listed at 100 and 300 shots only.

Every figure is one session. A repeat visit, if it is worth doing later, is charged at the single-session rate on the list in force at that time, not sold as a course in advance.
The ladder is not perfectly linear. 300 shots of Shurink Universe cost 159,000 KRW and 900 shots cost 469,000 KRW, so the price per shot falls a little as the count rises. That is a reason to agree the count with the doctor first, not a reason to buy more shots than your face needs.

Is Shurink Universe the same as Ultraformer MPT?
Yes. Shurink is the Korean name for the Ultraformer line: Shurink Universe is Ultraformer MPT, and the earlier Shurink is Ultraformer III. Our price list prints both names on each line for that reason. If a clinic abroad quoted you for Ultraformer MPT, compare it with the Shurink Universe rows in the table above, shot count for shot count.
At 100 shots the Universe line is 55,000 KRW and the earlier Shurink is 29,700 KRW. Both are HIFU at the same three depths. The difference is in the handpieces and the ways the energy can be laid down.
- Ultra Booster. The Universe generation adds a pen-type booster handpiece that follows small, curved areas a standard cartridge skims past: around the eyes, around the mouth and along the edge of the jaw.
- Ultra F. A linear handpiece that covers broad, flat planes such as the cheeks quickly.
- Dot and MP modes. Dot mode packs coagulation points densely, and MP lays energy in a continuous line. Faces need different densities, and the mode is chosen per area.
- Cartridges. Nine cartridges are used across depths and skin conditions, so each zone is treated at the depth it needs.
If your concern is one broad zone, the earlier line may cover it. If the plan includes the eye area, the mouth or a defined jawline, the Ultra Booster and the other Universe handpieces are the reason it is quoted. That choice is made in the room, against your face.
How the Shurink shot count is set
A shot is one pulse of focused ultrasound. The count follows the size of the area, how many depths each zone needs, and whether the booster handpiece is used for curved areas. A jawline alone and a full face with the neck are quoted at very different counts.
Before anything is quoted, the 3D Meta-Vu scan shows where the skin has thinned and where it has loosened. That scan is why the shot count, and therefore the Shurink Universe Korea price for your face, is confirmed in consultation rather than over a message.
Published research on focused ultrasound in general supports matching the plan to the degree of looseness. A 2023 systematic review of microfocused ultrasound for facial skin tightening, mostly on other HIFU devices, found it effective for mildly to moderately lax skin, and named marked laxity and a high BMI as reasons results were weaker.
The same review described the treatment as moderately painful, with brief redness and sometimes swelling afterwards, and rare side effects. A 2025 meta-analysis of HIFU for sagging skin called the results promising, with a modest number of controlled studies behind them.
Shurink Universe on a short Seoul trip
No downtime is listed for Shurink Universe, and the sensation is moderate. A topical numbing cream goes on for about 30 minutes first, and the session itself runs 30 to 50 minutes, so the visit fits inside half a day.
- Before you fly. Send a front photo, a 45-degree photo, your dates, and any lifting or filler treatment from the past year.
- Consultation day. The 3D Meta-Vu scan comes first, then depth, shot count and price, then the session if you agree to it.
- After you leave. The clinic lists the effect as lasting 3 to 6 months, and repeat sessions are usually spaced every 3 to 6 months. Message us on WhatsApp from home if a question comes up.
Treatment can often follow the consultation on the same day. Weekends and Friday evenings fill first, so message as soon as your dates are set.
We are a two-minute walk from Nonhyeon Station, Exit 5, on Gangnam-daero; there is no patient parking, so come by subway or taxi. We open 10:30 to 19:30 Monday to Thursday, to 20:30 on Friday and to 16:30 on Saturday, and we are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Who should ask us first
HIFU tightens. It does not move tissue that has fallen a long way, and it does not replace volume that has gone.
- It fits mild to moderate looseness along the cheeks, the jawline and under the chin.
- When the mid-face has dropped further, thread lifting repositions tissue, and the Total Lifting programme combines platforms from the dermis to the SMAS.
- When the face looks hollow rather than loose, volume is the question, not HIFU.
