Xerf Treatment Cost in Korea: Shot Prices, Sessions and How Long It Lasts

Xerf is priced by the shot here: 1,290,000 KRW for 300 and 1,890,000 KRW for 600, on the list of 20 August 2026. The maker plans two sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart, so the number to compare is the plan, not one visit.

The consultation room at THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul, where a lifting plan is drawn up before any device is chosen

Xerf treatment cost at our Seoul clinic is set by the shot, and the figure that matters is the whole plan. If you have seen Xerf priced per session in the US or Singapore and wondered whether a trip to Korea changes the sum, this page puts our list prices, the maker's session plan and the questions to ask in one place.

Xerf is new enough that most of what you read about it comes from clinics selling it and from its maker. We keep those two kinds of fact apart here: our price list is ours, and every sentence about what the device does is the maker's account, linked at the foot of the page.

By the end you will know what each shot count costs, what Xerf is and is not, how many visits the maker plans, how it compares with Ultherapy and Thermage, and who we suggest something else for.

Xerf treatment cost in Korea, from our price list

These are list prices in Korean won from the price list dated 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT. The final figure is confirmed at consultation, after the doctor has looked at your face.

Xerf: price list of 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT
DeviceShotsPrice (KRW)
Xerf3001,290,000
Xerf6001,890,000

Each figure is one session. The maker recommends two sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart, and a second session is charged at the same single-session rate, so the Xerf cost of a full plan is two of these lines, not one.

Why the shot count matters more than the word session

A quote for one Xerf session tells you nothing until it names a shot count. Ask us, and anyone else you are comparing, how many shots a figure covers and which areas they go to. Two prices that look far apart are often the same treatment at a different count.

What is Xerf, and why it is not a laser

People search for a Xerf laser, but what is Xerf in fact? It is monopolar radiofrequency, not a laser. It is made by Cynosure Lutronic, and the maker says each shot carries two frequencies at once, 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz, so energy reaches more than one depth in a single pass.

  • Three modes. Shallow targets the dermis, Middle reaches the superficial fat layer, and Deep reaches the structures the maker links to laxity and lifting.
  • Cooling. Real-time cryogen cooling protects the surface, and the maker says treatment does not need numbing cream.
  • Pulse delivery. WaveFit spreads the energy across several pulses, for a steadier rise in tissue temperature rather than one sharp burst.
  • Areas the maker names. Face and neck laxity, the brow, fine lines, the jawline and jowl, and the area under the chin.

The US FDA 510(k) database lists XERF under Lutronic Corporation, decided on 11 August 2025, in a general electrosurgical classification. That tells you the device was cleared in the US. It says nothing about how long a lift lasts, so read it as a regulatory fact rather than a result.

How many Xerf sessions, and how long does Xerf last?

The maker recommends two sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart and states that results typically last six to nine months. We have no Xerf figures of our own yet, so that is the number we quote, and we quote it as the maker's.

For somebody flying in, the gap is the planning problem. Two sessions a month or more apart means two trips to Seoul, or one trip long enough to hold both. If a second visit is not realistic, say so before you book: the doctor may suggest a plan that fits one appointment, such as Thermage FLX, which is planned here as one appointment a year.

The two RF devices are set side by side, layer by layer, in Xerf vs Thermage, if you want the detail before you write to us.

Xerf vs Ultherapy and Thermage: the question that decides it

We choose a lifting device by depth: radiofrequency in the dermis, HIFU at the SMAS, the fascial layer a surgical lift tightens. So the xerf vs ultherapy question is really a question about where your laxity starts, and only the consultation answers it.

Three lifting platforms on our list: price list of 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT
DeviceEnergy and depthFrom (KRW)
XerfMonopolar radiofrequency at two frequencies, set by mode from the dermis to deeper structures1,290,000 for 300 shots
Thermage FLXMonopolar radiofrequency in the dermis1,990,000 for 600 shots
Ultherapy PrimeFocused ultrasound (HIFU) down to the SMAS, with DeepSEE imaging400,000 for 100 shots

A shot on one device is not the same unit as a shot on another, so when you weigh xerf treatment cost against other lifts, remember that 300 Xerf shots and 300 Ultherapy shots are not one treatment at two prices. Every Ultherapy shot count is set out in our Ultherapy price guide.

Is Xerf worth it? What reviews and photos can tell you

Most Xerf before-and-after photos online are other clinics' patients, taken with their own lighting, angle and timing. We do not publish Xerf photos of our own, so we will not show you somebody else's as if they were a promise.

Common Xerf claims and what can actually be said
Claim you will readWhat can be said
It does not need numbing creamThat is the maker's description, based on real-time cryogen cooling.
There is no downtimeThe maker describes minimal downtime. It does not promise none, and neither do we.
One session is enoughThe maker recommends two sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart.
It lasts for yearsThe maker states six to nine months, typically.
It is a laserIt is monopolar radiofrequency, not a laser.

Whether the Xerf treatment cost is worth it for you is a fit question. It is worth discussing when the skin is still thick, the descent is in the lower face, and a second visit is possible. When those three do not line up, we will say so and suggest something else.

Who should ask first, and what else is on our list

Radiofrequency is heat, and heat in the skin is not right for everyone on every day. Tell us your medical history in consultation, including recent fillers, isotretinoin, or any medication that affects healing.

  • If your skin is sensitive or reactive, Oligio is a sensor-guided monopolar RF with gas cooling and vibration, and a reasonable first RF treatment, from 109,000 KRW for 100 shots.
  • If 6.78 MHz is what caught your eye, that is also the frequency of Volnewmer, which works in the deep dermis, from 158,000 KRW for 100 shots.
  • If the sagging is deeper than radiofrequency reaches, the next question is HIFU at the SMAS.

Every device is on our medical devices page, and all of them sit under lifting and tightening.

Planning Xerf into a trip to Seoul

  1. 3D Meta-Vu analysis. Make-up comes off and your face is photographed in 3D as part of the consultation.
  2. Consultation with the director. Dr. Jang Dong-hoon reads the scan with you and judges whether the laxity sits in the dermis, deeper, or both.
  3. Device and shot count. Xerf, another RF, HIFU or nothing at all, and the shot count, are decided from that reading, and the price is confirmed before anything starts.

The clinic is a 2-minute walk from Nonhyeon Station Exit 5 on the Sinbundang Line, and it is closed on Sundays and public holidays. There is no patient parking, so come by subway or taxi.

Xerf is not in the booking selector yet, so the simplest route is to open the booking page, send your dates and a photo on WhatsApp, and write Xerf in the message. If this is your first visit, read the questions patients ask before they come.

The short version

  1. On our list of 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT, Xerf is 1,290,000 KRW for 300 shots and 1,890,000 KRW for 600 shots, per session.
  2. Xerf is monopolar radiofrequency at 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz, not a laser.
  3. The maker recommends two sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart and states results typically last six to nine months.
  4. For a visitor, the gap between sessions is the planning problem: say early if a second trip is not possible.
  5. The device is chosen by depth at consultation, so the answer may be Xerf, Thermage FLX, HIFU or none of them.

Questions patients ask

How much does Xerf cost in Korea?

At THE Beautiful Clinic, Xerf is 1,290,000 KRW for 300 shots and 1,890,000 KRW for 600 shots, per session, on the price list of 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT. The final figure is confirmed at consultation.

What is Xerf?

Xerf is a monopolar radiofrequency device made by Cynosure Lutronic. The maker says each shot combines 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz, with three modes that reach from the dermis to deeper structures.

Is Xerf a laser?

No. Xerf uses radiofrequency energy, not laser light, even though it is often searched as a Xerf laser.

How many Xerf sessions do I need?

The maker recommends two sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart. The doctor confirms the plan for your face at consultation.

How long does Xerf last?

The maker states that results typically last six to nine months. We do not yet have Xerf figures of our own.

Is Xerf better than Ultherapy?

Neither is better in general. Xerf is radiofrequency and Ultherapy is focused ultrasound down to the SMAS, so the choice depends on where your laxity starts.

Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
