Rejuran is a Korean brand name for an injection of polynucleotides (PN), a substance purified from salmon DNA, and the same name is also used for a line of creams and serums. That is why the search “rejuran korea website” often takes you to two places at once: a skincare shop and a clinic page. The cream works on the surface of the skin, while the injection is placed inside the skin by a doctor. If you are planning four days in Seoul with friends, the next question is usually very practical: “If I get the injection on day two, will my face still look bumpy in the photos?”

What will you find on a rejuran korea website, and what won't you?
Brand pages and online shops mostly show products: packaging, ingredients, how to use a cream or serum, and sometimes information about the maker, PharmaResearch, the Korean company that produces Rejuran. That helps you recognise product names. What no rejuran korea website can give you is an assessment of your skin: whether your concern sits in the layer PN reaches, which version makes sense, and how much you would need.
A Rejuran injection is also not something you can buy and use yourself. It is given by a doctor in a medical facility. Rejuran is often lumped together with collagen stimulators such as PLLA, although they work differently. PN, PLLA, CaHA and exosomes each work on their own timeline, so to me choosing the type matters more than choosing the brand. Why can't a Rejuran cream replace the injection?
The answer is molecule size. Intact skin is a strong barrier. Bos and Meinardi, writing in Experimental Dermatology (2000), explain that compounds that penetrate skin well generally weigh under 500 Daltons. PN is a long chain of many nucleotides, far larger than that limit. So PN in a cream mostly stays on the surface and works roughly like a moisturiser.
The injection places PN directly in the dermis, the layer a sheet mask never reaches. A 2025 systematic review in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology concluded that injected polynucleotides are associated with improvements in hydration, elasticity and fine lines, with the caveat that many of the studies are small and their protocols vary. In those studies, PN was generally given over several spaced sessions.
You can still use Rejuran cream, and there is nothing wrong with that. Your expectations simply need to match: the cream cares for the surface, the injection works beneath it.
Salmon DNA: should you worry about allergy?
The PN in Rejuran comes from purified salmon DNA. A 2025 review in Pharmaceutics comparing PN and PDRN explains that both come from fish DNA such as salmon or trout, and that the main difference is chain length: PN is longer and forms a mesh-like structure in the skin, while PDRN is shorter. The small bumps after an injection generally come from the fluid placed at each point before it spreads.
The material is purified, but if you have a fish allergy or have reacted to a PN or PDRN injection before, say so before any treatment. Bumps for 1 to 2 days, and your holiday schedule
Small bumps after Rejuran usually show for 1 to 2 days. On a four-day trip, that makes day one or day two more sensible for the injection than the day before your flight home or before a photo outing in Bukchon. Lasers, boosters and aesthetic injections can generally be done straight after the consultation, so the consultation and injection can often fall on the same day.
The clinic is open Monday to Thursday from 10:30 to 19:30, Friday until 20:30, Saturday from 10:30 to 16:30, and closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays. Weekends and Friday evenings fill fastest, so once your dates are fixed, book a few days ahead. Before injection day:
- Come with a clean face and no makeup if you can.
- Tell us if you have recently had filler, are taking isotretinoin, or take other medicines that affect healing.
- Mention any fish allergy or reaction to an earlier injection.
- Avoid scheduling an important photo session within 2 days of the injection.

Who is Rejuran sensible for on a short trip?
Rejuran is usually considered for skin that feels thin, dry or dull, uneven texture, and fine lines. For eyes that look tired because the skin is thin, there is Rejuran i. If you are afraid of needles, Rejuran HB, the low-pain type, is on our list.
Rejuran is not designed to lift dropped cheeks, replace lost volume or erase deep wrinkles. Risks and side effects to know
The common reactions: small bumps at the injection points for 1 to 2 days, redness, tenderness to the touch, and sometimes small bruises. These generally settle on their own.
In general, a PN injection should be postponed or skipped if you have an infection, inflamed acne or a wound in the area to be injected; have recently had a laser or peel; are taking isotretinoin; are pregnant or breastfeeding; or are allergic to fish or to the ingredients of Rejuran.
If, after you are back in Indonesia, the bumps have not settled after a few days, feel hard and increasingly painful, or the area becomes red, hot and swollen, especially with a fever, see a doctor in your city promptly. Is Rejuran the same as PDRN?
Not exactly. Both come from fish DNA such as salmon or trout, but Rejuran uses PN, which has longer chains. PDRN has shorter chains, and both are studied for skin repair with slightly different mechanisms.
