People who search for Radiesse Korea usually know the name from a friend or a forum and want to know two things: what it actually is, and whether it is the right injectable for their face before they spend a day of a Seoul trip on it.
Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite, often shortened to CaHA, a mineral the body already uses. It sits in the subdermal plane and supports it, and over the following months it prompts your skin to build its own collagen. That is why it is filed on our list with the collagen stimulators rather than with the gels that simply add volume.
This page covers what CaHA does in the skin, who it suits, what it costs on our list, how it fits a short stay, and the one difference from a hyaluronic acid filler that you should know before anything is injected.
What Radiesse is, and how it differs from a gel filler
A Radiesse syringe holds calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a carboxymethylcellulose gel. A 2023 narrative review in Aesthetic Surgery Journal describes two effects from that mix: the gel and spheres restore volume at once, and the spheres then act as a scaffold that cells respond to.
The same review reports increases in collagen, elastin, small blood vessels, proteoglycans and fibroblasts after treatment. That is the reason skin quality can change and not only shape.
- Structure, not just volume. Radiesse supports the plane it sits in, so it reads as lift rather than fullness.
- Your own collagen. The mineral is metabolised over time, and the collagen framework it leaves behind persists.
- Over a year of effect. The clinic lists Radiesse as lasting 12 to 18 months.
- Subdermal plane. It is placed deeper than a skin booster, under the skin rather than within its surface layers.
A hyaluronic acid filler works differently. It holds water and fills space, and its result is mostly the gel itself. Both are injectables, both are placed by a doctor, and both can be the right answer, but they solve different problems.

Radiesse Korea price on our list
The Radiesse Korea price on our list is set by the syringe, under imported fillers. The unit is one 1.5cc syringe, and how many a plan uses is set at consultation from the area and how much structure has been lost.
| Treatment | Material | Unit | Price (KRW) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Radiesse | Calcium hydroxylapatite | 1.5cc | 890,000 |
| Ellanse | Imported filler line | 1cc | 790,000 |
| Sculptra | Poly-L-lactic acid | 1 vial | 750,000 |
| Juvelook | PLA with hyaluronic acid | 2cc, 1 session | 240,000 |
Prices are from the list of 20 August 2026 and exclude 10% VAT. The final figure is confirmed at consultation, after the 3D Meta-Vu scan and before anything is started.
Each figure is the price of one session, not a course. If a second session is worth doing later, it is charged at the single-session rate on the list in force at that time. Juvelook is listed with subcision by hand if needed.
The table is a comparison of units, not of value. A 1.5cc syringe of Radiesse and a vial of Sculptra do different jobs, and the cheaper line is only the better choice if it answers the question your face is asking. Our Sculptra price guide covers that product in detail.
Three things move the Radiesse Korea price for one face. The first is the number of syringes, since temples and mid-cheeks together take more product than a jawline alone. The second is the area and depth, mapped across the whole face before anything is injected. The third is whether the product is used dense for contour or diluted for skin quality, because the two goals use very different amounts.
Diluted Radiesse for the hands or the décolleté is planned by the box. The product is mixed with saline, a method called hyperdilute, and counted in 1.5cc boxes at the same 890,000 KRW per 1.5cc on the list: the hands take one box, and the décolleté starts from one box. The change is in skin quality and shows over several months rather than on the day.
Who Radiesse suits, and when another option fits better
Most people we see for Radiesse Korea plans have lost support rather than water: hollowing that makes the skin above it look looser, a contour that has softened, or skin that has thinned along with the volume beneath it. In those cases structure and collagen are the point, and a gel that only fills can look heavy.
- Mainly a fine line or a lip? A hyaluronic acid Contour Filler is usually the tool, because it can be shaped precisely and dissolved if needed.
- Mainly skin quality across a wide area, with time to wait? Sculptra or Juvelook build collagen more gradually, over a series of sessions.
- Mainly a face that has dropped? That is a deeper layer, and lifting at the SMAS or thread lifting answers it better than any injectable.
Every collagen stimulator we hold is listed on the skin boosters and collagen regeneration page, and our Juvelook guide explains the gentlest end of the range.
Fitting Radiesse into a short Seoul trip
For a Radiesse Korea visit, the clinic lists the sensation as moderate and the downtime as swelling for 2 to 4 days. That is the number to plan around: the injection itself is short, and the swelling is what decides when it sits comfortably before a flight or a dinner with photos.
- Before you fly. Send a photo from the front and one at 45 degrees, your dates, and any filler or thread you have had in the past year, with the product name if you know it.
- Consultation day. The 3D Meta-Vu scan comes first, then the plan and the number of syringes, then the injection the same day if you agree to it.
- The days after. Swelling settles over 2 to 4 days, and collagen builds over the following months, so the result is judged later rather than on the day.
- After you leave. Message us on WhatsApp from home if a question comes up, with a daylight photo.
Injectables can usually be done straight after the consultation. Weekends and Friday evenings fill first, so message us as soon as your dates are set, and avoid a Saturday afternoon injection with a Sunday flight, since we are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
We are a two-minute walk from Nonhyeon Station, Exit 5, on Gangnam-daero. We open 10:30 to 19:30 Monday to Thursday, to 20:30 on Friday and to 16:30 on Saturday.
Korea Radiesse review claims, checked
Read a few posts in a korea radiesse review thread and they seem to contradict each other. Most do not. A post written a week after treatment is judging the gel and the swelling, and one written six months later is judging the collagen, so both can be honest about different phases.
| What reviews say | Verdict | What is actually true |
|---|---|---|
| “You see the result straight away.” | Partly | The gel gives structure on day one, but swelling for 2 to 4 days makes the face look fuller than the real result. The collagen effect builds over the following months. |
| “If you don't like it, just dissolve it.” | Not for Radiesse | Hyaluronidase dissolves hyaluronic acid filler and does not work on calcium hydroxylapatite. |
| “Radiesse causes lumps.” | Partly | Lumps can happen, more often in thin skin or when product sits too shallow. Firmness in the first week usually comes from swelling and settles. |
| “You can fly home the next day.” | Plan more time | We advise flying 2 to 3 days after any filler, so the days of most visible swelling are spent in Seoul. |
| “It lasts longer than regular filler.” | Partly | The clinic lists 12 to 18 months, and how long it lasts differs by area, amount and metabolism. |
Reviews are useful for preparing questions. They cannot tell you how many syringes your face needs, or whether CaHA is the right product for the area that bothers you.
Risks, and the one thing hyaluronidase cannot do
The common effects are the ones any injection carries: swelling, bruising and tenderness for a few days. Less common are firm nodules under the skin, which can appear weeks later. The rare and serious event is product entering a blood vessel, which is why depth and technique matter more than the brand.
Here is the difference that matters most. A hyaluronic acid filler can be broken down with an enzyme, hyaluronidase, and our list includes a filler dissolving injection for that purpose. A 2026 review of filler complications in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology notes that no enzymatic reversal is available for CaHA, so its complications rely on prevention, supportive care and, in select cases, removal.
None of this is a reason to avoid a Radiesse Korea appointment. It is a reason to choose it for the right area, from a doctor who knows where it should and should not go, and to choose a dissolvable gel where precision near the eyes or lips matters most.
Who should ask us first
Tell us your medical history in consultation before anything is injected. Mention recent fillers in the same area, isotretinoin, blood thinners, or any medication that affects healing, and say so if you are pregnant or have an active skin infection.
- You have filler of unknown type in the area already. We need to know what is there before adding a product that cannot be dissolved.
- Your main concern is around the eyes or the lips, where a dissolvable gel is usually the safer first choice.
- Your flight home is less than 2 to 3 days after the injection, the gap we advise after any filler, and visible swelling would be a problem.
When you are ready to plan Radiesse Korea dates, tick Radiesse in the booking selector and send your dates on WhatsApp. The doctor who consults is the doctor who plans and injects, and his background is on our doctors page.
The short version
- Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) in a gel: it supports the subdermal plane at once and prompts your own collagen over months.
- On the list of 20 August 2026, Radiesse is 890,000 KRW per 1.5cc syringe, before 10% VAT, per session.
- The clinic lists swelling for 2 to 4 days and an effect lasting 12 to 18 months.
- Unlike a hyaluronic acid filler, CaHA cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase, so the area is chosen with care.
- It suits lost support and thinning skin; lines, lips and the eye area usually start with a dissolvable gel.
Questions patients ask
What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a carboxymethylcellulose gel. It restores structure in the subdermal plane straight away and prompts your skin to build its own collagen over the following months.
How much is Radiesse in Korea?
At THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul, Radiesse is 890,000 KRW per 1.5cc syringe on the list of 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT. The number of syringes and the final figure are confirmed at consultation.
Can diluted Radiesse be used on the hands or décolleté?
Yes. The clinic dilutes Radiesse with saline, a method called hyperdilute, and plans it in 1.5cc boxes: the hands take one box and the décolleté starts from one box. On the list of 20 August 2026 Radiesse is 890,000 KRW per 1.5cc before 10% VAT, and the change in skin quality shows over several months.
How long does Radiesse last?
The clinic lists Radiesse as lasting 12 to 18 months. The mineral is metabolised over time while the collagen it prompted remains.
Can Radiesse be dissolved?
Not with hyaluronidase, the enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid filler. That is why we choose the area carefully and usually start with a dissolvable gel near the eyes and lips.
When can I fly home after Radiesse?
The clinic lists swelling for 2 to 4 days, and we advise flying 2 to 3 days after any filler. Plan the injection early in your stay so the swelling settles while you are still in Seoul.
Radiesse or Sculptra?
Radiesse gives structure on the day and builds collagen over months; Sculptra builds collagen more gradually over a series. The consultation decides which one answers your face, or whether neither does.
Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
