Thermage eyes Korea: what Eye Thermage does for loose lids, and who it suits

Eye Thermage fires a 0.25 cm² tip on loose, crepey lids and fine lines around the eyes, not on lids that droop from muscle or fat. On the 20 August 2026 list, 255 shots are 990,000 KRW before 10% VAT.

Private numbered treatment bay at THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul, where lifting sessions take place

Is the skin on your upper lids starting to fold onto your lashes, and is that why you are searching thermage eyes Korea before a trip to Seoul?

Spend a few minutes here before you choose between an eye session and a full face.

By the end you will know what Eye Thermage treats, how it differs from full-face Thermage FLX, what the 255 and 450 shot sessions cost, what the session feels like, the downtime, and whether it suits your lids.

Hello, I'm Dr. Jang Dong-hoon, Founder & Medical Director of THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul. The doctor who examines you plans and treats you, and nobody sells you a package to be done by someone you never met. We use genuine Thermage tips only, and price by the shots fired from a certified tip.

I wrote this because Eye Thermage is often pictured as a smaller, cheaper full face. It uses a different tip on a different area, and it has its own line on our price list.

Eye Thermage is Thermage FLX fired through a dedicated 0.25 cm² eye tip on the upper and lower lids and the thin skin around them. It is meant for lid skin that has thinned and loosened, for crepey lids and for fine lines at the outer corners. It does not lift a lid that droops from the muscle or from fat, and results vary from person to person.

What Eye Thermage treats, and what it leaves alone

Our treatment page lists one eye benefit for Thermage FLX: eyelid skin lifted with the dedicated 0.25 cm² eye tip. In practice that covers three concerns people bring to us.

  • Upper eyelid skin that has loosened above the crease and makes the lid look hooded.
  • Crepey lids: fine, papery creasing on the upper or lower lid when you look up or smile.
  • Fine lines that fan out from the outer corners, where the skin is thinnest.

Solta Medical, the maker, lists non-invasive treatment of wrinkles around the eyes, including the upper and lower eyelids, among the cleared uses for Thermage. Monopolar radiofrequency heats the dermis, so existing collagen contracts and new fibres form over the following months.

What it leaves alone matters as much. Heat firms skin; it does not shorten a weak muscle, remove fat or take away a large fold of excess skin. Those three need a different answer, and the section on who should look elsewhere names them.

Eye Thermage vs full-face Thermage FLX

Both run on the same Thermage FLX machine. What changes is the tip, the area, the shot count and the price.

The two are separate rows on the price list, so an eye session is not a slice of a full face. If you want both, ask on WhatsApp how they are planned for one visit, and the quote will show each line.

The small tip exists for a reason. A 2007 safety study notes that monopolar RF on the eyelids had not been feasible because of concern for the eye itself. The 0.25 cm² tip was developed and tested so the lids could be treated, and that is what makes a thermage eyes Korea session a different treatment from a face session.

255 or 450 shots: what Eye Thermage costs here

Eye Thermage has its own line on our list, with two shot counts. The face session is shown under it so you can see the difference.

  • Eye Thermage, 255 shots: 990,000 KRW.
  • Eye Thermage, 450 shots: 1,890,000 KRW.
  • Thermage FLX for the face, 600 shots: 1,990,000 KRW; 900 shots: 2,690,000 KRW.

Prices are from the list of 20 August 2026 and exclude 10% VAT. The final figure is confirmed at consultation, after the 3D Meta-Vu scan and before anything is started.

The shot count is not picked from a menu. Thermage here is charted before it is fired: photo design first, then a chart of energy level and shot count for each zone, then adjustment during the session.

You get the figure after the scan and before treatment, with no obligation to go ahead. How the face and neck counts are chosen is set out in our Thermage FLX price guide.

In the chair: eye protection, sensation and time

A first visit that includes lifting takes about 2 to 2.5 hours at the clinic. The consultation and the 3D Meta-Vu scan come first, and the scan takes about 10 minutes with makeup removed.

Our treatment page lists the sensation as moderate, with vibration and cooling. The tip cools the surface between pulses, so the reaction happens below the surface rather than on it.

The eye tip is meant to be used with the eye protected. The 2007 safety study found the tip safe on eyelids together with appropriate eye protection. In a 2025 study of Asian patients in Korea, a protective plastic contact lens was worn throughout. Ask us on WhatsApp which protection your session uses.

Numbing differs between studies. The 2006 trial of 72 patients needed no skin anaesthesia, while the 2025 study applied numbing cream 30 minutes before. Tell us in consultation if discomfort worries you.

Downtime, results and your flight home

Our treatment page lists no downtime for Thermage. Redness from radiofrequency usually lasts a few hours, and washing and makeup are fine the same day.

Solta lists swelling among the common effects, typically gone within five days but sometimes lasting weeks. It also lists numbness or tingling, burns or blisters, and darkening of the skin. Message us straight away if any of these appear.

A lifting session with no wound allows a flight the next day. That makes Eye Thermage easier to place late in a trip than most treatments. Do not book a pigment laser straight after it: heat lifting followed by a pigment laser raises the risk of darkening, and the gap is set at consultation.

The change is gradual. Collagen keeps forming for three to six months, and our page gives about 12 months as how long the result lasts. In the 2006 trial most patients improved by up to about a quarter, and a smaller group by more.

After you fly home, the clinic keeps answering on WhatsApp within 24 business hours.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

We suggest Thermage when skin has thinned more than it has dropped, and that holds for the lids too. A thermage eyes Korea plan makes most sense for these three.

  • Upper lids that look hooded because thin, loose skin has started to cover the crease.
  • Crepey skin on the upper or lower lid.
  • Fine lines at the outer corners, without much puffiness.

Now the limit. Look elsewhere, or ask before booking, if any of these apply to you.

  • A lid that droops because of the muscle, not the skin. That needs an eye doctor, and no energy device treats it.
  • A heavy fold of excess skin. Heat can soften a mild fold but cannot remove skin, and eyelid surgery is not on our list.
  • Puffy lower lids from fat. That is contour, and Agnes under-eye fat repositioning is the option we look at.
  • A pacemaker or other active implant. Solta's safety information rules Thermage out.

Tell us your medical history in consultation, including recent fillers or other treatments around the eyes. If you are weighing Eye Thermage against the Volnewmer or Shurink eye tips, our non-surgical eye lift guide puts the three side by side.

For what is normal after a session and what is a reason to call, read our guide to Thermage side effects.

Combining it with other eye-area treatments

Eye Thermage works on firmness. Thin, tired skin under the eyes and puffiness from fat are separate questions, and the scan shows which of them you have.

Eye-area treatments often weighed alongside Eye Thermage

Eye ThermageLoose, crepey lid skin990,000 for 255 shots

Injections are not affected by the gap that applies to pigment lasers after heat lifting, so Rejuran for the eyes can usually share the trip. Our Rejuran eye guide covers how it is done. Agnes leaves small scabs for 2 to 4 days, so it belongs early in a stay.
