Anyone comparing the Thermage FLX Korea price from abroad ends up with a notes app full of numbers that do not describe the same appointment. One quote is 600 shots, the next is 900, and the third turns out to be an eyelid treatment on a different tip.
A shot is the unit of treatment. The tip is the other half of it. Until you know the shot count and the tip, two figures cannot sit beside each other, and that applies to this clinic exactly as it does to any other.

The figure buys a stated number of shots on a genuine, certified tip, which is the only honest way to price this treatment. Face work runs on the 4.0 cm² total tip. Eyelid work runs on the 0.25 cm² eye tip, and that is why Eye Thermage is listed on its own line.
If a quote anywhere does not name both the shot count and the tip, it is not yet a quote. Ask for both before you compare, including from us.
What moves a Thermage FLX quote
The price of one visit is easy to look up. What sits behind the figure is four decisions, and we can answer all four from our own list.
- Shot count. 600 shots is 1,990,000 KRW and 900 shots is 2,690,000 KRW. More shots means more area covered, or more passes across the area that needs them.
- Which tip. The 4.0 cm² total tip covers the face. The 0.25 cm² eye tip works the lids, from 990,000 KRW for 255 shots.
- How the session is charted. We take design photographs, write a chart of energy level and shot count zone by zone, then adjust in real time during the session.
- Who holds the handpiece. Dr. Jang Dong-hoon is the physician listed at this clinic, and the chart is set with him at consultation.
Shot count on its own is not a measure of quality. Two people can pay the same figure and get very different maps, because the chart decides where the energy goes.
How many Thermage sessions you actually need
Thermage is not sold here as a course. Existing collagen contracts on the day, and new fibres keep forming for three to six months afterwards.
The effect holds for about twelve months, which is why we treat it as an annual appointment. If you are in Seoul once a year, that spacing works without a second trip.
When to come back
Judge the result at month three, not on the evening of the session. The skin is still building at that point, and a decision made on day one is made too early.

Fitting Thermage into a trip to Seoul
There is no downtime, so Thermage can sit anywhere in your itinerary, including the day before your flight home. That is unusual among the treatments people fly in for.
- The clinic is a two-minute walk from Nonhyeon Station, Exit 5, on Gangnam-daero.
- We open 10:30 to 19:30 Monday to Thursday, to 20:30 on Friday and to 16:30 on Saturday. Lunch is 13:00 to 14:00, and Saturdays run without a lunch break.
- Sundays and public holidays are closed, so a short stay that falls over a Sunday has one day fewer in it.
- Energy devices can usually be done straight after the consultation, so one visit often covers both. Send your dates first so the time is held.
- Treatments with real recovery, such as fractional resurfacing or threads, are the ones to schedule with your week in mind. What the other treatments here cost is a useful read before you plan the order.

Ultherapy Prime focuses ultrasound at 60 to 70 °C into three fixed depths and shows the plane on DeepSEE imaging, so the operator is aiming rather than estimating. Oligio senses skin condition and modulates output as it runs, with contact gas cooling and vibration, which makes it a reasonable first radiofrequency treatment for reactive skin.

Who Thermage suits, and who should ask first
Thermage is the platform we reach for when skin has thinned rather than simply dropped. It is a skin tightening treatment that works in the dermis, so it is the wrong tool when the descent starts in the layer beneath.
- Tell us your medical history in consultation, including recent fillers, isotretinoin and any medication that affects healing. We ask this before every treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure and retinoids for a few days before energy work on the face, and come with clean skin if you can.
- If your laxity is coming from the fascia, HIFU aimed at the SMAS is the depth to discuss instead.
- If the lower face is heavy with fat rather than loose, microwave energy absorbed by fat is the conversation to have.
- If your skin is reactive, or this is your first radiofrequency treatment, sensor-guided monopolar RF is the gentler starting point on our list.
