Juvelook vs Rejuran is one of the most common booster questions from people planning a trip to Seoul, and it is a fair one: both are injected into the skin, both leave small bumps for a day or two, and on our list 2cc of each costs the same. What separates them is what each asks the skin to do. Juvelook is a collagen stimulator that builds firmness and fills shallow texture over weeks; Rejuran is a polynucleotide booster that works on skin that has thinned and lost resilience. This guide compares the two on mechanism, who each suits, price, recovery and how they fit a short trip.
The honest short answer is that the choice depends on what your skin shows on the scan, not on which name is trending. Many people are a clear fit for one; some are better served by the other first; a few need neither this trip.
What Juvelook and Rejuran actually are
Juvelook combines a polylactic acid polymer with hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid holds water early on, and the polymer particles prompt your own collagen to form as they slowly break down. Nothing dramatic happens on the day; the change accumulates over weeks, and on our list it lasts 12 to 18 months. Because the result is tissue you have grown, over-correction is far less likely than with a same-day filler.
Rejuran Healer uses polynucleotides, DNA fragments most manufacturers purify from salmon or trout, to support the skin's own repair. It works on the epidermis and dermis in the same session, which is why texture and firmness tend to move together. A systematic review of polynucleotides in esthetic medicine found the reported side effects were mostly mild and short-lived. On our list Rejuran is planned as a course of three to four sessions, two to four weeks apart, and lasts three to six months after the course.

Juvelook vs Rejuran: who each one suits
In practice the split follows the problem you see in the mirror. If the complaint is texture you can feel, such as shallow acne scars, enlarged pores or a slightly hollow look in the cheeks, Juvelook is usually the closer match, because building collagen is what lifts a shallow depression. If the complaint is skin that looks tired, thin or crepey, with fine lines and less bounce than it used to have, Rejuran is usually the closer match, because the aim is better quality rather than more volume.
- Juvelook first: rolling or boxcar acne scars that are shallow, pores that look stretched, mild loss of fullness.
- Rejuran first: fine lines, dullness, sensitised or thinning skin, the eye area with Rejuran i.
- Neither this trip: active breakouts or a cold sore in the area, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or a lump from an earlier injection that has not been explained.
- Something else entirely: sagging that has dropped belongs to lifting, and pigment belongs to a laser plan.
Juvelook vs Rejuran is therefore less a contest than a sorting question. If you are still comparing several boosters, the six consult questions that decide which Korean skin booster fits your skin cover the wider field, and the Juvelook price guide and Rejuran price guide go through each list in detail.

Price and number of sessions
On the per-visit figure the two look identical: 2cc of Juvelook and 2cc of Rejuran are both listed at 240,000 KRW, and 10% VAT is added to every listed price. Juvelook also comes in a 4cc session at 480,000 KRW, with subcision included if it is needed for tethered scars. Rejuran is also listed at 1cc for 120,000 KRW, Rejuran i for the eye area at the same price, and Rejuran HB, a lower-pain type, at 150,000 KRW for 1cc.
The difference shows up across a course. Rejuran is planned as three to four sessions spaced two to four weeks apart, so a visitor usually has the first session in Seoul and decides about the rest from the result. Juvelook works on a longer clock, and how many sessions it needs is set at the consultation for your skin. The final quote is given after the scan and before treatment, with no obligation to go ahead.
Recovery, and fitting either into a short trip
Recovery is close to identical. With both, what you see on the first day or two is the injection itself: small raised bumps where the product went in, sometimes redness or a small bruise. The listed downtime for each is small bumps for 1 to 2 days, and both are done under a topical anaesthetic. That makes an early appointment the sensible shape for a trip, so the bumps settle while you are still in Seoul.
- Day one or two: consultation, 3D scan and the injection, on a weekday if you can.
- The next day or two: ordinary sightseeing while the bumps settle; skip the sauna and hard exercise.
- Before you fly: note the product name, the amount and the areas treated for your doctor at home.
- Weeks later: photos in daylight in the same spot, which show what the booster did better than a mirror on day two.
The clinic is open Monday to Thursday from 10:30 to 19:30, Friday until 20:30 and Saturday until 16:30, and closed on Sundays and public holidays, so a Saturday afternoon arrival means a Monday appointment. For the first days in detail, Juvelook day by day, and how long to stay in Seoul goes through them one at a time.
Can Juvelook and Rejuran be combined?
Some people have both a texture problem and a quality problem, and ask whether to do the two together. Whether that suits you, and in what order, is decided at the consultation after the scan; the clinic does not set a rule in advance, and combining them does not change the listed price of either. What matters more for a visitor is that every injectable adds to the record you take home, so the product names and amounts should be written down whatever the plan. If you have settled on Juvelook and are still choosing where, where to get Juvelook in Korea and who it suits covers the checks that matter more than the address.
Risks, and who should wait
Most of what happens after either booster is expected and temporary: bumps, redness and sometimes a bruise in the first days. Less often a firm lump can be felt under the skin after a collagen stimulator, which is one reason it is placed by a doctor who knows the depth. If you have a fish allergy or have reacted to a salmon-derived product before, say so before a polynucleotide injection. Results and recovery differ from person to person, and whether either suits you is decided at the in-person consultation.
When your dates are set, tick Juvelook or Rejuran in the booking selector, add anything else you are curious about, and send the list. If injections are a first for you, mention it; the consultation will slow down accordingly.
