Most people who type fraxel cost korea into a search box are comparing one session figure against a trip they have not booked yet. The figure itself is easy to give. What decides your total is how many sessions your skin needs, whether Intracel joins them, and whether three to seven days of flaking fit inside your days in Seoul.

This page sets out the price per session on our own list, what moves a quote, how a course is spaced, and who should ask before booking. The doctor who reads your 3D scan is the one who treats you, and we plan Fraxel as a course charged at the single-session rate, never as a package.

Fraxel cost Korea: the price per session on our list

Fraxel is priced by the session. The combined Fraxel and Intracel line is one session that works at two depths, and the Intracel tip, a single-use needle head, is charged on top of each combined session.

Fraxel and related lines: price list of 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT
TreatmentUnitPrice (KRW)
Fraxel1 session109,000
Fraxel + Intracel1 session199,000
Intracel tip with FraxelPer session33,000
Intracel alone1 session, plus 33,000 tip129,000
Potenza1 session, plus 44,000 tip169,000

Prices are from the list of 20 August 2026 and exclude 10% VAT. The final figure is confirmed at consultation, after the 3D Meta-Vu scan and before anything is started.

So the fraxel korea price for one plain session is 109,000 KRW, and a combined session is 199,000 KRW plus the 33,000 KRW tip. Every later session is charged at the single-session rate, so a course is the per-session figure repeated, not a separate package.

When you compare a fraxel laser korea price between clinics, compare the price of one stated session and ask whether a tip is included. A figure for a visit says little, because a visit can hold one device or two.

What moves a Fraxel quote

Five things move a Fraxel cost Korea quote. None of them is hidden, and you can ask about each one on WhatsApp before you book anything.

  1. Number of sessions. Deep rolling or boxcar scars usually need more sessions than fine texture, so the course matters more than the single figure.
  2. Fraxel alone or with Intracel. Intracel is RF microneedling: fine needles carry radiofrequency into the dermis, where depressed scars sit, so the combined session works on the surface and the deeper layer together.
  3. What the scan finds. If 3D Meta-Vu imaging shows that pigment is behind what you dislike in photos, a pigment laser may replace or join Fraxel, and the plan changes with it.
  4. Active acne. If breakouts are still forming, they are treated first, because new acne leaves new marks over the work being done.
  5. How many trips. Sessions are spaced weeks apart, so a full course usually means coming back to Seoul. Flights and nights are not on our bill, but they are part of what Fraxel costs you.

How many Fraxel sessions, and how far apart

Texture and scar work is cumulative. Each session lays down collagen that the next one builds on, which is why one visit is a start and not a result.

How many sessions you need, and how far apart, is set after the 3D Meta-Vu scan, and the scan is repeated to see how your skin answered. A plan that promises a fixed count before anyone has looked at your face is a guess.

Say you have rolling scars on both cheeks, skin that darkens for weeks after a pimple, and six days in Seoul. We would place Fraxel early in the stay, not on day five, so the flaking is settling before you board. Because your skin marks easily, we would also discuss whether a gentler option belongs in this first trip, and a next visit a year away changes the plan again.

Recovery days on a Seoul trip

Fraxel leaves 3–7 days of redness and flaking, and the sensation during the session is moderate to strong. For many people the first day feels like a sunburn: pink, warm and a little swollen. Over the next few days the skin turns dry and rough, then flakes as the treated columns shed.

Put Fraxel at the start of a stay, not two days before a flight or an event. After laser work the clinic's guidance is to avoid heat and exercise for 24–48 hours, saunas for a week and direct sun for two weeks. A laser is not booked on the day you fly, because cabin air is dry. A Fraxel cost Korea estimate that leaves these days out is missing part of the cost.

  • Day of treatment. Pink, warm skin; keep the evening quiet and skip alcohol and heat.
  • The next few days. Dryness and a rough feel, then flaking. Makeup covers some of it but sits unevenly on flaking skin.
  • Through the first two weeks. A gentle cleanser, a plain moisturiser and sunscreen, no picking at flakes, and a hat outdoors.

We are a two-minute walk from Nonhyeon Station, Exit 5, and there is no patient parking, so come by subway or taxi. We open 10:30 to 19:30 Monday to Thursday, to 20:30 on Friday and to 16:30 on Saturday, and Sundays and public holidays are closed. If Fraxel lands on a Saturday, you will be pink on Sunday and flaking through midweek.

Fraxel or a pico laser: which one fits what you see

Fraxel is a fractional resurfacing laser. It treats the skin in a grid of microscopic columns and leaves healthy skin between them on purpose, and that untouched skin is what lets the treated columns heal quickly. The American Academy of Dermatology lists laser resurfacing among the treatments for acne scars, alongside other options chosen by scar type.

A picosecond laser breaks pigment apart with very short pulses and little heat, while Fraxel rebuilds texture through controlled micro-injuries. The clinic uses PicoWay rather than PicoSure, and our pico toning price guide has its per-session figure. The list names the treatment simply as Fraxel, without a model, so if a specific model matters to you, ask before you book.

Who should ask first before Fraxel

Fraxel is not right for every skin on every trip. Tell us your medical history in consultation, and mention these before anything is booked.

  • Isotretinoin, recent fillers or medication that affects healing. We ask about these before every treatment, and they can change the plan.
  • Recent sun or retinoids. Avoid both for a few days before laser work, and come with clean skin and no makeup if you can.
  • Skin that darkens easily. Heat-based fractional lasers carry a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, as DermNet describes, so tell us your Fitzpatrick type. A picosecond option may suit this trip better.
  • Mostly pigment, little texture. PicoWay may be the answer rather than resurfacing.
  • A fixed event within a week. Fraxel may have to wait for the next trip, and Potenza or Intracel alone, with 1–3 days of redness, can start now.

If something looks wrong after you fly home, such as spreading redness, pus, increasing pain or fever, see a doctor locally and send us photos on WhatsApp. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests that people treated abroad keep copies of their treatment records, so ask for the details of what was done before you leave Seoul.

When you are ready, tick Fraxel in the booking selector and send your dates on WhatsApp. If this is your first treatment in Seoul, read what patients ask before they visit first.

The short version

  1. On the list of 20 August 2026, Fraxel is 109,000 KRW a session and Fraxel with Intracel is 199,000 KRW plus a 33,000 KRW tip, before 10% VAT.
  2. A course is charged at the single-session rate, and the number of sessions is set after the 3D Meta-Vu scan.
  3. Each session leaves 3–7 days of redness and flaking, so Fraxel belongs at the start of a stay, not before a flight.
  4. Fraxel rebuilds texture and scars; PicoWay targets pigment, and skin that darkens easily may start with a gentler option.

Questions patients ask

How much does Fraxel cost in Korea?

At THE Beautiful Clinic in Gangnam, Fraxel is 109,000 KRW per session, and Fraxel with Intracel is 199,000 KRW plus a 33,000 KRW tip, on the price list of 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT. The final figure is confirmed at consultation.

Is Fraxel priced per session or as a package?

Per session. A course is charged at the single-session rate, and the number of sessions is set at consultation after the 3D Meta-Vu scan.

Does Fraxel hurt?

The sensation is moderate to strong. Ask at consultation how comfort is handled for your session, and tell us if you have reacted badly to a laser before.

How long is the downtime after Fraxel?

Expect 3–7 days of redness and flaking. Plan it at the start of a stay, keep out of direct sun for two weeks afterwards, and do not book a laser on the day you fly.

How many Fraxel sessions will I need?

It depends on the depth and type of your scars or texture. Results build over a course, and the number of sessions and the gap between them are set after the scan.

Is Fraxel suitable for darker skin?

Heat-based fractional lasers carry a higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in skin that darkens easily. That does not always rule Fraxel out, but it calls for caution, and a picosecond option carries less of that risk. Mention your Fitzpatrick type when you message.

Can I plan Fraxel from abroad?

Yes. Send a daylight photo and your dates on WhatsApp; messages are answered within 24 business hours in English or Bahasa Indonesia, and the clinic's own staff interpret at the appointment free of charge.

Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
