Working out the SkinVive Korea price for a trip to Seoul, but worried that your thin, dry cheeks, which went lumpy after filler once, aren't suited to any injection anymore?
Read this before you lock in dates and book a slot.
By the end you'll know what decides the cost, which review claims are true and which aren't, how the method works in the skin, and how long recovery takes. That lets you judge whether SkinVive makes sense for your skin and your budget, or whether a different plan fits better.
Hello, I'm Dr. Jang Dong-hoon, Founder & Medical Director of THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul.
At our clinic I consult, plan and treat myself. The consultation begins with a 3D scan of your skin before any talk of price, and our own clinic staff interpret at no charge.
I'm writing this because many people work out the cost from the price of one cc, then learn at the clinic that their skin needs a different amount, or a different treatment.
At our clinic SkinVive is priced per cc. Your cost depends on how many cc the treated area needs, whether it should be combined with another treatment, and how many visits fit your schedule; the final figure is given before treatment, with no obligation.
If you'd like a sense of it for your own cheeks, send one front photo of your face in daylight on WhatsApp, say which filler you had before and when, and ask what SkinVive would cost for your case.
What decides the SkinVive Korea price for your skin?
A per cc figure is only a unit. The final bill is that unit times the amount your skin needs, plus anything that genuinely has to be done alongside it. That's why two people who both searched “SkinVive Korea price” can leave with very different plans.
| Factor | What changes | What you can prepare |
|---|---|---|
| Number of cc | Size of the area and how dry the skin is | Front and side photos in daylight |
| Treated area | Cheeks only, or other areas as well | Which area bothers you most |
| Combined treatment | Another booster or laser in the same visit | Facial treatments in the last six months |
| Number of visits | One visit, or a second visit added | Arrival and departure dates |
A few other things also move your figure:
- Filler history in the same area. If leftover filler or a lump is still there, the plan can change, including possibly postponing SkinVive at that spot.
- Numbing cream. Shallow injections at many points feel like repeated small pinches. Some people want numbing cream, so ask about it when you request an estimate.
- Days in Seoul. The shorter your stay, the less room for a second visit, so the plan tends to be smaller.
- Interpreter. Our own clinic staff interpret at no charge, arranged for your appointment time.
For readers coming from abroad, two facts help with the sums: we don't ask for a deposit, and the final price is given before treatment with no obligation to go ahead. The same per unit logic applies to devices such as Sylfirm, which is priced by its own unit.
To get the figure, you can ask for the range first on WhatsApp. We reply within 24 business hours.
SkinVive reviews: what's true and what needs correcting?
Reviews on forums and social media tend to repeat the same few claims. Some match how hyaluronic acid works; some don't.
- “Your skin glows straight away.” Partly true. Hyaluronic acid binds water, so skin often feels more hydrated within days. On day one, though, there are usually red dots or small bumps at the injection points too.
- “SkinVive can replace filler for hollow cheeks.” Not true. SkinVive works in the skin layer for texture and hydration, and isn't designed to lift or add volume.
- “There's no recovery at all.” Not quite. Redness, swelling and bruising are common effects of filler injections according to the US FDA.
- “The result lasts forever.” Not true. Hyaluronic acid is slowly absorbed by the body, so the effect lasts for some months.
A glow from treatments that only work on the surface can fade within days. SkinVive works deeper than the surface, but it still needs repeating if you want to keep the effect.

How does the SkinVive method work in the skin?
SkinVive is hyaluronic acid injected as tiny droplets into the dermis, at many closely spaced points. Because each point gets a small amount and sits shallow, the aim is smoother, more hydrated skin; the shape of the face isn't meant to change.
This difference matters if you've had lumps after filler. Cheek filler is usually placed deeper, with a larger amount per point, to lift. Many misunderstandings about filler come from mixing up those two goals.
SkinVive also isn't the only skin booster for dry, thin skin. Our menu includes Rejuran, Juvelook, Ultracol and Exosome, each with a different mechanism and timeline, so the type you choose matters more than the brand. Details of SkinVive at our clinic are on the SkinVive treatment page.
The question I find most decisive is this: is the skin dry because it lacks water, or thin because its collagen has declined? The 3D skin scan helps answer that before we talk about cc.
If your skin is thin and has gone lumpy after filler
Say you're 38 and live in Surabaya, with thin, dry cheek skin. Two years ago cheek filler left a lump that a doctor at home later dissolved, and since then you've been advised not to add volume. You have five days in Seoul.
In that situation I'd first check whether any leftover filler or hardened tissue remains in the area. If it does, injecting hyaluronic acid again at the same spot isn't the first step. If the skin is clear and the complaint really is dry texture, a small amount of SkinVive can be considered, because the target is hydration in the skin layer, not volume.
SkinVive recovery: how many days before you fly home?
After the injections, the points usually show as red dots or small bumps, sometimes with mild swelling or bruising. For many people this settles within a few days. Ask at your treatment when you can wear makeup or exercise.
Boosters and aesthetic injections can usually be done straight after the consultation, so one visit often covers both. What you need to plan is the gap between treatment and your flight, because the number of days also shapes your SkinVive Korea price.
Picture your trip: you land on Thursday evening and come to the clinic on Friday. On Fridays we're open from 10:30 to 20:30, which leaves time for the 3D scan, the consultation and treatment if it suits you. On Saturdays the clinic is open until 16:30 with no lunch break, so you can still come back if something needs checking. The clinic is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Monday to Thursday we're open 10:30 to 19:30, with lunch from 13:00 to 14:00.
The clinic is on the 2nd floor of the Jinryeong Building, a two minute walk from Nonhyeon Station Exit 5 (Sinbundang Line). There's no patient parking, so come by subway or taxi. Leave at least one day between treatment and your flight, so you've seen how any swelling or bruising develops before you go home.
Risks and who should wait
Common temporary effects are redness, swelling, tenderness, itching and bruising at the injection points. The FDA lists these as common effects of filler injections, and they are usually temporary.
The rare but serious risk is an injection entering a blood vessel. This can block blood flow and damage the skin, and very rarely affect vision. The FDA lists this risk for filler injections in general.
In general, it's wise to wait or discuss it first if you:
- have an infection, inflamed acne or a wound in the area to be injected
- recently had laser, a peel or filler in the same area
- are taking, or recently stopped, isotretinoin
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have been allergic to hyaluronic acid or local anaesthetic
- bruise easily or take blood thinners
Tell us beforehand if you've recently had filler, take isotretinoin, or take medicine that affects healing. Final suitability is decided at the in-person examination, and recovery differs from person to person.
Once you're home, if pain gets worse, the skin turns pale, bluish or dark, or your vision changes, go to the emergency department in your city right away without waiting for a message reply. Bring a record of the product and amount used; the CDC advises carrying copies of your medical records from treatment abroad. For a bump that doesn't go down, contact us on WhatsApp; we reply within 24 business hours, also after you return home. Hyaluronic acid can generally be dissolved by a doctor with the enzyme hyaluronidase, including a doctor at home.
If your filler history is what makes you hesitate most, send a side photo of your cheek in daylight, the month and year of your last filler and whether it was ever dissolved, and ask what needs checking in that area before SkinVive.
A first step from Jakarta or Surabaya
Before you message, prepare three things: your arrival and departure dates, a list of the medicines you take, and your facial treatment history for the past year. You can read about Dr. Jang on the our doctors page, and find the address, hours and general information on the THE Beautiful Clinic Seoul home page. When your dates are set, the booking page is the next step.
Consultations are available in English and Indonesian, and you can ask questions with no obligation to book. When you come, I'll examine your skin with the 3D scan and recommend the treatment that suits that skin, sometimes SkinVive, sometimes another option.
If you're still weighing the SkinVive Korea price, send your Seoul dates and one daylight photo of your face on WhatsApp, and ask how many cc are usually considered and what it would cost for your case.

Questions patients ask
Is SkinVive priced per cc at your clinic?
Yes. On our price list SkinVive is listed per 1cc. How many cc you need depends on the area and the condition of your skin, and the final price is given before treatment, with no obligation to go ahead.
Can SkinVive be done straight after the consultation?
Often, yes. Boosters and aesthetic injections can usually be done right after the consultation, as long as the skin examination finds no reason to wait.
How long does the SkinVive effect last?
Hyaluronic acid is slowly absorbed by the body, so the effect generally lasts some months. How long varies from person to person, and the treatment needs repeating to keep the effect.
Do I need to speak Korean?
No. Consultations are available in English and Indonesian. Our own clinic staff interpret at no charge, arranged for your appointment time.
I'm taking isotretinoin. Can I have SkinVive?
Mention it before you come. In general isotretinoin affects skin healing, so many doctors advise postponing injection or laser treatments. The final decision is made at the in-person examination.
Do I need to pay a deposit when booking from Indonesia?
No. Our clinic doesn't ask for a deposit for bookings from abroad, and the final price is given before treatment begins.
Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
