Rejuran How Long Does It Take in Seoul? Days, Cost, Reviews, Methods
The injection is the short part of a Rejuran trip, and the days around it need more planning. We close at 16:30 on Saturdays and all day Sunday, which decides where the appointment belongs.

Rejuran how long does it take, and will the bumps still show when you board your flight home?
Read this before you fix your Seoul dates.
You'll know how long the visit runs, what the first week looks like, what decides the cost, what reviews get right and which methods change the timing. That lets you choose dates that suit your skin and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Jang Dong-hoon, Founder & Medical Director of THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul.
I consult, plan and treat here myself, and the consultation begins with a 3D scan of your skin before any price list. Consultations run in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and boosters can often be done straight after the consultation.
I wrote this because people often budget for the injection and forget that the flight home depends on the days after it.
The injection usually takes less than an hour, including numbing. Small bumps commonly settle within a few days, and skin change is measured in weeks, so put the appointment early in your trip.
To start, send your landing and departure times on WhatsApp, plus the one thing you need to look presentable for.
Rejuran how long does it take on the day itself?
Plan for part of a day, and ask for your slot length at booking. Three things fill that time: the scan and consultation, the numbing, and the injections.
As general practice, numbing cream often sits on the skin for around 20 to 30 minutes. A full-face injection pass is commonly shorter than that. The under-eye area or a larger amount changes the count, and you can follow each stage in our guide to the Rejuran Healer steps in sequence.
The clinic is a 2-minute walk from Exit 5 of Nonhyeon Station. Weekday hours include a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00, and Saturdays run without one. Weekends and Friday evenings fill first, so send your dates as soon as they're set. Our Rejuran treatment page and the THE Beautiful Clinic English home page show where this sits among the other treatments.
Come with clean skin and no makeup if you can. Mention any recent fillers, isotretinoin or medicines that affect healing before the appointment starts.
Your first week, day by day
The table shows a common pattern from general practice. Thin skin, easy bruising and a larger amount can all stretch it.
| When | What you may see | What it means for your trip |
|---|---|---|
| Injection day | Small raised bumps in rows, redness, tenderness | Keep the evening low-key and skip photos |
| Day 1 | Bumps flatter, redness fading | Sightseeing is usually fine, with sun protection |
| Days 2 to 3 | Most small bumps gone for many people | A dinner or meeting often becomes realistic |
| Days 4 to 7 | Any bruise turning yellow, then fading | Concealer may be needed for a work return |
Risks and side effects to know
A bruise is the wild card. One small vessel can mark the skin for a week or more, while the rest of your face looks settled. Our article on Rejuran bumps and side effects goes further into what is expected and what isn't.

How many days should you leave before flying?
For most people I would leave at least two nights between the injection and the flight, and three if there is an event soon after landing. For a traveler, the useful form of "Rejuran how long does it take" is how many clinic hours sit between your injection and your departure.
Say you land on Thursday night and fly home on Monday morning, with dull cheeks and fine creasing under the eyes. I would reason through it like this:
- Friday: the scan, consultation and injection. We open at 10:30 and stay open until 20:30.
- Saturday: your bumps are flattening, and the clinic is open until 16:30 if something worries you.
- Sunday: the clinic is closed, so keep your plans easy and your sunscreen on.
- Monday: you fly with two nights of settling behind you.
Move that appointment to Saturday afternoon and the next open clinic hour is Monday, possibly after you've left. That's why I'd avoid the last open slot before a Sunday.
I'm not aware of a medical rule that bans flying soon after these superficial injections. The reason to leave space is practical: you want time for a bruise to show, and a chance to come back in while you're still in Seoul.
When will you actually see a change?
Expect weeks, and don't judge the result at the airport. Early fullness is often swelling from the injections. Polynucleotide research, including a systematic review in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, mostly looks at courses of sessions and follow-up over time.
That changes how you read a short trip: one Seoul visit can start the work, and I won't promise a session count before seeing your skin. For the longer timeline, read how long Rejuran takes to show results and how long the effect tends to last.
Who should wait, and what can go wrong
Common temporary reactions are stinging during the injection, redness, swelling, tenderness, small bumps and bruising. These usually ease over days. Recovery differs from one person to the next, and every treatment carries possible side effects.
As a general medical matter, you may need to wait or skip it if any of these applies:
- Infection or inflammation at the injection site
- A recent laser or peel in the same area
- Current or recent isotretinoin use
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Allergy to salmon-derived ingredients or fish
If you take a blood thinner, don't stop it by yourself. Ask the doctor who prescribed it.
If a lump stays firm, or you get spreading redness, heat, pus or fever after flying home, see a local doctor promptly and tell them which product was injected and when. The US CDC's medical tourism guidance also suggests arranging follow-up care at home and keeping copies of your records before you travel.
If any item on that list might be you, send your medicine names and a photo of the spot on WhatsApp, with your flight date.
What decides the Rejuran cost?
The cost follows what goes into your skin and how it gets there. These are the main factors for your case:
- The amount, listed by the cc
- The type: standard Rejuran, Rejuran i for the eye area, or the low-pain Rejuran HB
- Whether Dermashine is used for delivery, which has its own tip fee
- Any other treatment added to the plan after your scan
Ask on WhatsApp what it would cost for your case, and include a photo of the area you want treated. The final figure is confirmed at consultation.
What do reviews get right about Rejuran timing?
Threads on Rejuran how long does it take mix up the three timelines, so some claims hold up better than others. "It stings more than other boosters" is a common complaint and plausible for many people, which is why a low-pain type and numbing exist.
"The bumps vanish overnight" is too hopeful as a planning rule. It can happen on thick skin with a small amount, but don't build a dinner on it. "My skin glowed by day three" may be real, though it's too early to credit new collagen, since swelling alone can plump the surface. "One session fixed everything" is a claim that published studies don't support well.
Methods that change your timing
The product is one decision and the delivery is another. Hand injection places small amounts point by point, while Dermashine delivers through a device with a multi-needle tip. I choose between them after looking at the area and how much you can show on your trip.
The eye area needs its own thought. Skin there is thin, so a bruise or small swelling tends to show more than on the cheek, and I'd leave more room before a flight or an important photo.
For your first message, one daylight photo of the area is enough, and you can ask before booking anything. Add the one question that matters to you, such as "Rejuran how long does it take with my flight times?" The clinic answers within 24 business hours. When you come in, I'll scan and examine your skin and recommend the plan that fits it and your dates.
The short version
- The visit, the visible bumps and the skin change run on three separate timelines.
- Small bumps commonly settle within a few days, while a bruise can stay longer.
- The clinic is closed on Sundays, so a Saturday appointment leaves little room before a Monday flight.
- The amount, the Rejuran type and the delivery method decide the cost.
- One message with your flight times and one question is enough to start.
Questions patients ask
Can I have Rejuran on the same day as my consultation?
Often, yes. Boosters can usually be done straight after the consultation, so one visit may cover both. Tell the clinic if your time is limited when you send your dates.
When can I wear makeup again?
Many doctors suggest waiting until the next day so the tiny injection points can close. Keep your brushes clean and go gently over any remaining bumps. Ask at your appointment about your own skin.
Should I avoid the sauna or alcohol after injections?
As general advice, skip saunas, hard exercise and heavy drinking for the first day or two, since heat and alcohol can increase redness and swelling. That matters on a Seoul trip with a jjimjilbang on the list.
How far in advance should I book?
A few days is usually enough, but weekends and Friday evenings fill first. If your itinerary is fixed, message the clinic as soon as your dates are set.
Do I need to speak Korean?
No. Consultations run in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and you can message on WhatsApp before you come.
Can I repeat the injection later in the same trip?
Polynucleotide courses in published studies are spaced over weeks, so a second session a few days later doesn't fit a usual schedule. If you're considering a course, ask how a return visit could be timed around your travel.
Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
