What Rejuran Healer is, and who it suits
Rejuran is an injectable made of polynucleotides, or PN: purified DNA fragments derived from salmon. It adds no volume. It's placed in small amounts through the skin to support repair, hydration and texture, and the change builds over weeks.
Reviews in the dermatology literature describe PN as acting on tissue repair and on the skin's ability to hold water. A systematic review of PN in aesthetic medicine found that published studies generally reported better skin quality, while the protocols differed from study to study. The evidence is encouraging, and it is also still building.
Rejuran tends to suit skin that is thin, dull or crepey, fine creasing under the eyes, and texture that looks tired after years of sun. It's a poor match for a deep fold, a jowl that has dropped, or a hollow that needs volume. Those start in deeper layers, and the answer there is usually a lifting device or a volumizing product.

What decides the cost of Rejuran for your face
Rejuran is priced per cc, so the amount is the first thing that moves the figure. These are the factors that decide it for you:
- Which area. The eye version is its own line, so cheeks plus under-eyes means two products.
- Which version. The low-pain HB type is priced separately from the standard one.
- How it goes in. Device-assisted delivery with Dermashine adds a tip fee.
- How many sessions. Boosters are usually planned as a series, so ask what one visit costs and what a course would involve.

Review threads about Rejuran repeat a handful of claims. Some are medically sound; some aren't.
- "It stings more than other boosters." Often true with manual injection, since there are many small entry points.
- "The bumps last a week." Usually not. Small raised bumps commonly flatten within a day or two. A bruise, where a needle met a small vessel, can last longer.
- "One session did everything." Studies of PN usually use a series of sessions spaced weeks apart, so a single visit is rarely the full picture.
- "It plumps up hollows." PN adds no volume; hollows need a different product.
Rejuran recovery, risks and the flight home
Expect small raised bumps, some redness and tenderness at the injection points, and occasionally a bruise. The bumps usually settle within one to two days; a bruise can take about a week to fade. Many doctors advise skipping makeup and hard exercise on the first day.
As general medicine, these are reasons to postpone or skip Rejuran:
- an acne flare, infection or inflammation where the injections would go
- a laser or peel on the same area very recently
- isotretinoin now or in recent months
- pregnancy or breastfeeding
- an allergy to fish or salmon, or to any ingredient in the product
- blood-thinning medicines or a bleeding tendency, which make bruising more likely
