Potenza exosome Seoul: do you need both? Cost, reviews, method
Potenza combines microneedles with RF, while exosome is an add-on whose evidence is still limited. Our list records exosome in 3cc and 6cc, and WhatsApp messages are answered within 24 business hours.

Were your acne scars once described as difficult to treat, and now that the term Potenza exosome Seoul has turned up on TikTok, you're unsure whether the exosome part is really needed or just an extra?
Read this before you book a ticket to Korea.
By the end, you'll know what decides the cost, which review claims hold up, how the method works and what kind of skin it suits. That lets you choose between Potenza alone and Potenza with exosome, for your complaint and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Jang Dong-hoon, Founder & Medical Director of THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul.
At our clinic, I'm the one who consults, plans and treats. The consultation begins with a 3D scan of your skin, not with a price list, and you can message us in English or Bahasa Indonesia on WhatsApp.
I'm writing this because many people assume exosome automatically multiplies what Potenza does, and a decision about scars turns into a decision about an added product.
Potenza is microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) for pores, scars and skin firmness, while exosome is a product that can be added on top. On scars, the needles and the heat do most of the work, and the evidence for exosome is still limited.
If a doctor has ever used the word difficult with you, send one photo of your acne scars in daylight on WhatsApp and ask one thing: does this area make more sense with Potenza alone, or with exosome added?
What is Potenza exosome Seoul, and how does it work?
Potenza RF microneedling places tiny needles into the skin and releases RF energy at a set depth. The skin answers those small wounds and that heat with a healing process that forms new collagen, so change usually arrives gradually, over weeks. The American Academy of Dermatology discusses microneedling as one option for fading scars.
Exosomes are very small vesicles released by cells, carrying proteins and genetic material that cells use to signal to one another. They are far above the 500 Dalton limit, the threshold that, according to Bos and Meinardi (Experimental Dermatology, 2000), roughly marks which molecules can still get through the outer layer of intact skin. That is the logic behind Potenza exosome Seoul: the channels left by the needles open a way in for a product that would normally stay on the surface.
The same skin barrier logic shows up in the difference between Rejuran cream and Rejuran injection. Still, a way in is not the same thing as proof of results. In its safety notification, the US FDA states that there are no exosome products it has approved, so I treat exosome as an option to be weighed.
At our clinic, exosome belongs to the skin booster group, alongside PN, PLLA, CaHA and others. Each type works on a different timeline, so which type you choose matters more than the brand.
Who does this combination suit?
Potenza exosome Seoul is worth discussing when your main complaint is skin texture and your skin isn't inflamed at the moment. Outside that, the answer often changes.
| Skin condition | What I would weigh | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Depressed acne scars, large pores | Potenza as the base | Exosome is only an option |
| Dull and dry, no scars | A skin booster first | RF needles may not be needed |
| Darker skin, marks after past procedures | Risk of marks first | Mention your Fitzpatrick type |
| Active inflamed acne in that area | Wait for now | Calm the inflammation first |
| Heavy, sagging lower face | A lifting device | Potenza isn't the main answer |
If what bothers you is a heavy lower face, you may want ONDA Coolwaves lifting instead. The microwave energy in ONDA targets fat, a layer that isn't the main target of microneedling.
Say you have darker skin, depressed acne scars on both cheeks, marks that lasted for months after a peel, and only five days in Seoul. My first question would be how long those marks lasted, because the answer can shape the plan more than the depth of the scars. According to DermNet, postinflammatory hyperpigmentation is more common in darker skin and can persist long after the inflammation settles.
In that situation I would start by discussing a smaller plan. I also wouldn't rely on exosome to prevent marks, because the evidence isn't enough for that.

The method questions to ask before you agree
Two people can both have Potenza with exosome and still receive different methods. These five things are worth asking at any clinic:
- Needle depth and energy per area. Forehead and cheek skin differ in thickness, so the settings usually differ too.
- Tip type. Ask which tip will be used and on which area.
- How the exosome goes in. In general, some is applied after the needling and some is injected, so ask which is planned for you.
- Product name and volume. Our list records Cell Exosome / ASCE Exosome in 3cc and 6cc. Write the name down, because your doctor at home may need it.
- Anesthesia. Ask what kind of pain relief is used and how long you wait before starting.
For session counts and recovery with Potenza on its own, read the guide to Potenza RF microneedling in Korea.
What do reviews say, and which parts are true?
Reviews of Potenza exosome Seoul on TikTok and forums tend to repeat three claims:
- Exosome speeds up recovery. Partly plausible in theory, but the research is still early and not enough to confirm it.
- You'll see results tomorrow. Mild swelling can make skin look tighter for a short while. Collagen formation takes weeks.
- The deeper the needle, the better. This is wrong. Depth follows skin thickness and scar type, and needles set too deep add risk.
Reviews can give you questions to ask, but they can't read your skin.
Risks and side effects to know
Before deciding on Potenza exosome Seoul, know the common reactions: redness, a feeling of heat, mild swelling and small needle marks, which usually settle within a few hours to a few days. Results and recovery differ from person to person. Dark marks after inflammation are more likely on darker skin.
Any product that enters through open skin carries a risk of infection and of inflammatory lumps. The FDA has also reported serious adverse events in patients who received unapproved exosome products, which is why the product name is worth asking about.
In general, it's wise to wait or discuss it first if you:
- have an infection or inflamed acne in the area to be treated
- are taking isotretinoin or a medicine that affects healing
- recently had a laser, a peel or filler
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have a history of keloids, an allergy to a product ingredient, or an implanted electronic device
If worsening pain, growing swelling, pus or fever appears after you fly home, see a local doctor promptly and bring a note of the product name and treatment date. After that, also send a photo of the area to the clinic's WhatsApp.
If you've had dark marks or keloids after a procedure, mention your Fitzpatrick type and the treatment that caused them on WhatsApp, then ask how long a gap makes sense.
What decides the cost of Potenza with exosome?
The cost of Potenza exosome Seoul can't be read from one number, because several things differ from person to person:
- Session and tip. Our list records the session and the tip separately, and Potenza and Intracel are two different items.
- Area size. One cheek area is different from the whole face.
- Exosome volume and type. Choosing 3cc or 6cc also changes the total.
- Number of visits. Five days in Seoul usually fits only part of a plan that needs several sessions.
We confirm the figure at the consultation, and you're welcome to ask for the range first. Ask on WhatsApp what it would cost for your case, with a photo of the area you want treated.
Your days in Seoul
Our clinic is on the 2nd floor of the Jinryeong Building, a two-minute walk from Exit 5 of Nonhyeon Station (Sinbundang Line). There is no patient parking, so come by subway or taxi. The address and other details are on THE Beautiful Clinic home page.
We're open Monday to Thursday from 10:30 to 19:30, Friday until 20:30 and Saturday until 16:30. The lunch break runs from 13:00 to 14:00, except on Saturdays. We're closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays.
Booking a few days ahead is usually enough, though weekends and Friday evenings fill up fast. Message us on WhatsApp before you come, and we'll schedule a companion who can explain the treatment plan in your language. Come with a clean face and no makeup if you can, and ask whether Potenza with exosome can be done on the day of your consultation.
I don't suggest scheduling Potenza on your last day. Leave a few days before your flight so the redness has time to settle and you're still in Seoul if questions come up. Once you're back in Jakarta or Surabaya, use sunscreen consistently, avoid excess heat for the first few days, and keep any fabric that touches the area clean.
One message is enough to get started. Send your Seoul dates and one photo of the area that bothers you on WhatsApp, then ask what it would cost for your case with and without exosome. You can ask before booking anything, and the clinic answers messages within 24 business hours. When you come, I examine your skin with the 3D scan and recommend the treatment that fits.
The short version
- Potenza works through microneedles and RF, which prompt new collagen gradually.
- Exosome is an optional add-on, and the evidence that it strengthens results is still limited.
- Darker skin with a history of marks needs that risk weighed first.
- Cost depends on session and tip, area size, exosome volume and number of visits.
- Inflamed acne, isotretinoin and pregnancy are reasons to wait.
Questions patients ask
Is exosome required after Potenza?
No. Potenza can be done without exosome. Exosome is an optional add-on, and the evidence that it strengthens results is still limited.
Can Potenza be done on darker skin?
It can be discussed, but the risk of dark marks after inflammation is higher on darker skin. Mention your Fitzpatrick type and your history of marks when you contact us.
How many days after Potenza can I fly home?
There is no single number for everyone. Redness generally settles within a few hours to a few days, so avoid scheduling treatment on your last day and ask what gap fits your plan.
Can Potenza with exosome be done on the consultation day?
Lasers, boosters and aesthetic injections can generally be done straight after the consultation. For a Potenza with exosome plan, ask when you book so your schedule can be arranged.
When do Potenza results start to show?
Collagen forms gradually over weeks, and the pace differs from person to person. Mild swelling in the first few days is not the final result.
Do I need to speak Korean?
No. Consultations are available in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Message us on WhatsApp before you come, and we'll schedule a companion who can explain the treatment plan in your language.
Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
