Non-Surgical Facelift Korea: How We Lift a Face Without an Incision
A non-surgical facelift here is a plan, not one machine: energy at the layer that has dropped, and threads where tissue must move. Downtime runs from none for devices to 2–5 days of swelling for threads.

If you are searching non-surgical facelift Korea, you have probably noticed your jawline softening or your cheeks sitting lower than they used to, and you do not want surgery. You want to know what can be done without an incision, how long it takes and what it costs.
The honest starting point is that no device or thread gives the result of a surgical facelift. The AAD says so plainly. What a non-surgical plan can do is tighten and lift in stages, with far less downtime, and keep the face moving in the right direction.
This page is built from our own price list and treatment notes. By the end you will know what causes sagging, which tool we use for which layer, how the plan runs and what each part costs. Our position is simple: we plan a lift by layer, and we would rather do less in the right place than more in the wrong one.
What is actually causing the sagging
A face does not sag in one layer. It changes in three, and each one answers to a different tool.
- The dermis loses density and spring, so the skin looks thinner and creases more easily.
- The fat layer can gather along the jaw and under the chin, which blurs the jawline even when the skin is firm.
- The SMAS, the fascial layer a surgeon would tighten, descends and takes the cheek and jowl with it.
Most faces have some of each. That is why a single machine, used the same way on everyone, so often disappoints. The first job is to find which layer has moved most in your face.
What we use for it here, and why that one
Our Total Lifting programme is the plan that decides which machine, at which depth and in which order. The depth decides the device.
| Layer | Tool | Example on our list |
|---|---|---|
| Dermis, for density | Radiofrequency (RF) | Thermage FLX, Oligio, Volnewmer |
| SMAS, for lift | HIFU (focused ultrasound) | Ultherapy Prime, Shurink Universe, Doublo |
| Fat, when it needs to come down | Microwave or RF with a pulse | ONDA, InMode |
| Tissue that needs repositioning | Threads | Signature midface or V-line lifting |
Ultherapy Prime focuses ultrasound at 60–70 °C into fixed depths of 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm, the last of them at the SMAS. Its DeepSEE imaging shows the tissue in real time, so the operator is aiming rather than estimating.
Thread lifting is the mechanical part. Threads physically reposition tissue and then keep working as collagen forms along them. We plan the direction of pull from where the descent started, not from where it shows most.

The plan, step by step
Every non-surgical facelift Korea plan here follows the same order, even though the tools change from face to face.
- Consultation and scan. The doctor reviews your face and the 3D Meta-Vu scan and decides which layers to treat.
- Layered, not stacked. Two platforms in one visit make sense when they work on different layers. Where they overlap, we space them out instead.
- The first result. With HIFU, tissue contracts on the day and new collagen arrives over eight to twelve weeks. With threads, the lift is immediate and collagen follows.
- The next visit. How long each part lasts depends on the device: around 12 months for Thermage FLX, 6–12 months for Ultherapy Prime and for threads, and 3–6 months for Shurink Universe.
The AAD notes that most people see modest lifting and tightening within 2 to 6 months of one ultrasound treatment. That is the pace to plan around, and it is why we do not promise a finished face by the end of a trip.
Downtime, day by day
Downtime is where energy devices and threads differ most. If your trip is short, this decides the order.
| Treatment | On the day | After |
|---|---|---|
| Ultherapy Prime | Moderate, brief per line | No downtime listed |
| Thermage FLX, Oligio, ONDA | Low to moderate, with cooling | No downtime listed |
| Total Lifting with several devices | Mild to moderate | None to same-day flushing |
| Thread lifting | Under local anaesthetic | 2–5 days of swelling |
After threads, most people are back to their normal routine the next day, with swelling settling over the first week. A 2021 systematic review in Dermatologic Surgery found that most side effects of thread lifts were transient and resolved on their own, with asymmetry, swelling and bruising the most common.
What a non-surgical facelift costs here
A non-surgical facelift Korea plan here has no single price, because it is built from the lines below. These are the parts most plans draw on.
| Treatment | Unit | Price (KRW, before 10% VAT) |
|---|---|---|
| Ultherapy Prime | 300 shots | 1,200,000 |
| Thermage FLX | 600 shots | 1,990,000 |
| Shurink Universe | 300 shots | 159,000 |
| ONDA lifting, face | 60 kJ | 409,000 |
| Thread lifting, signature midface | 1 session | 1,990,000 |
| Thread lifting, signature V-line | 1 session | 1,990,000 |
Prices are from the list of 20 August 2026 and exclude 10% VAT. The final figure is confirmed at consultation, after the 3D Meta-Vu scan and before anything is started.
Each line is one session, and a thread lift is priced the same way. There is no course price: a plan that combines two treatments is quoted from the lines it uses. For a closer look at the two best-known devices, read Ultherapy and Thermage compared.
Who should ask first, and what to consider instead
A non-surgical lift is not right for every face. These are the cases where we want to talk before planning anything.
- Heavy, deep sagging. If you want the result of a surgical facelift, no device or thread will give it, and we will say so.
- A thin face. When volume has been lost rather than shifted, lifting alone can leave the face hollow. Contour filler may be the better conversation.
- Fullness along the jaw. If fat is the main cause, a device that works on fat, such as ONDA, may come before any lift.
- Tell us your full medical history in consultation, including any recent filler, thread, surgery or medication.

When you are ready, tick Total Lifting in the booking selector and send the list on WhatsApp. For every option, see our lifting treatments.

Questions patients ask
How much is a non-surgical facelift in Korea?
There is no single price, because the plan is built from individual treatments. Per the price list of 20 August 2026, before 10% VAT, Ultherapy Prime 300 shots is 1,200,000 KRW and a signature thread lift is 1,990,000 KRW. The final figure is confirmed at consultation.
Is a non-surgical facelift as good as surgery?
No. A device or thread cannot give the result of a surgical facelift. It offers a gradual lift with much less downtime.
Does a non-surgical facelift hurt?
HIFU is moderate and brief per line, and RF devices range from low to moderate, with cooling. Threads are placed under local anaesthetic.
What is the downtime?
Energy devices list none, or flushing on the day. Threads bring 2–5 days of swelling, and most people return to their routine the next day.
How long do the results last?
It depends on the tool: around 12 months for Thermage FLX, 6–12 months for Ultherapy Prime and threads, and 3–6 months for Shurink Universe.
Can I do it in one trip to Seoul?
Often, yes. Threads are placed early in the stay so swelling can settle, and energy sessions are placed around them. HIFU results keep building for weeks after you fly home.
How do I book from abroad?
Send a front and a side photo and your travel dates on WhatsApp. The clinic replies in English or Bahasa Indonesia, usually the same day.
Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
