What sets Sylfirm Korea price? Reviews, methods and recovery in Seoul
Sylfirm cost moves with the session count, the tip and the treatment plan, so the figure for one visit leaves questions open. The clinic answers WhatsApp messages within 24 business hours, also after you fly home.

I wrote this because many people compare the price of one session, when with pigment that tends to return, the number of visits is what changes the total most.
Sylfirm Korea price is set by the session count, the tip used, the size of the area and any other treatment in your plan. A single per-visit figure answers only part of the question.
Which layer of skin does Sylfirm work in?
Sylfirm is a pulsed-type RF microneedling device. Fine needles carry radiofrequency energy into the dermis while the outermost layer is largely spared. At our clinic, Sylfirm is used for abnormal vessels and pigment, so melasma and redness can be treated together.
Why does the dermis matter? A systematic review of RF microneedling for melasma proposes that improvement comes through remodeling the dermis and strengthening the basement membrane. Its authors also acknowledge that most of the evidence for this mechanism comes from small histology studies. The review covers a range of devices, so its findings may not apply exactly to Sylfirm.
Melasma and sun spots look alike in a mirror but behave very differently under energy. That's why I first want to know whether the color in your cheeks comes from pigment, vessels or both. What decides the cost of Sylfirm in Seoul?
That's why a Sylfirm Korea price found online is hard to read on its own. Our price list shows one session at 249,000 KRW and the tip at 33,000 KRW on a separate line, so make sure any figure you read mentions both. The table below lists what usually changes the total.

Prices are from the list of 20 August 2026 and exclude 10% VAT. The final figure is confirmed at consultation, after the 3D Meta-Vu scan and before anything is started.
Each device is counted in its own way. Lifting, for instance, is often counted per shot, as with Ultherapy, which you can read about in how Ultherapy and Thermage differ, and with Doublo Gold. So don't treat figures from different devices as equivalent.

Methods: Sylfirm alone or with other treatment?
Our pigment programme starts with 3D imaging, and the energy is then matched to what the scan shows. In general, the options look like this:
- Sylfirm alone: makes sense when melasma comes with redness and the target sits in the dermis.
- Sylfirm with a pigment or vascular laser: considered when the scan shows surface spots or distinct vessels. Our clinic has PicoWay, Vbeam Perfecta and Excel V+.
- Creams and sun protection as the base: a review of melasma judged single treatments generally limited over the long term and placed topical medication first in line.
Say you're 38, live in Surabaya, have melasma and cheeks that redden easily, and have only five days of leave. Your doctor at home has warned that a laser could make the patches worse. In that situation, I would treat the Seoul trip as one point in a longer plan.
The same review mentions 3 to 5 monthly sessions as a starting framework that is still hypothetical. Five days of leave holds only one visit from that framework. So the Sylfirm Korea price for a plan like this needs to be worked out together with a possible next trip and care at home, and you can start from the booking page with Sylfirm ticked.
Risks and side effects to know
The common reactions are redness and swelling. That review records them as usually settling within hours, and within about seven days at most. Reported pain was mild to moderate and usually managed with numbing cream.
For tan or brown skin, the main concern is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Most study participants were Fitzpatrick types III and IV, so data for darker skin remain limited. Mention your Fitzpatrick type when you contact us. Melasma can also return after treatment, and each person responds differently.
In general, talk it over first or wait if you:
- have an infection or inflammation in the facial area to be treated
- recently had a laser, peel or filler
- are taking isotretinoin or medication that affects healing
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have a pacemaker or an electronic implant
If you get worsening pain, pus or a wound that isn't improving after you fly home, see a doctor in your city promptly. The clinic answers WhatsApp within 24 business hours, also after you've gone home. The CDC advises people treated abroad to arrange follow-up at home and carry copies of their medical records.

Sylfirm reviews: what's true and what isn't?
Reading popular claims works much like what I discuss in my piece on six beliefs behind the search for filler house Korea. Here are three claims that often appear in general reviews of Sylfirm:
- One session and the patches are gone. False. Study protocols used several sessions, and melasma is known to return.
- There's no recovery period. Partly true. Recovery is often short, but redness and swelling are still normal.
- Figures in reviews can be compared directly. False. Many reviews quote a Sylfirm Korea price without explaining the tip, the area or the session count.
How long is recovery, and when can you fly home?
Sylfirm isn't on our clinic's list of treatments with visible recovery. That list holds Fraxel, CO2, Agnes, thread lifting and filler. With other treatments, what remains is usually a few hours of redness. RF microneedling studies give a longer upper limit, so don't schedule an important event right after a session.
I suggest leaving a few days between the session and your flight, so any reaction shows while you're still in Seoul. Ask about a sensible gap for your plan when you book.
Once you're back in Jakarta or Surabaya, the sun matters most. The melasma review names visible light and UVA1 as the main triggers and recommends broad-spectrum sunscreen of at least SPF 30 all year, preferably one that also blocks visible light, such as an iron oxide formula.
Planning your days in Seoul
The clinic is open Monday to Thursday 10:30 to 19:30, Friday until 20:30 and Saturday until 16:30. Lunch runs 13:00 to 14:00, except on Saturdays. We're closed on Sundays and public holidays. Weekends and Friday evenings fill up first, so tell us as soon as your dates are fixed.

How many Sylfirm sessions does melasma need?
No single number applies to everyone. RF microneedling studies for melasma used 2 to 10 sessions spaced 1 to 4 weeks apart, and no protocol has been validated.
Does Sylfirm suit tan or brown skin?
It can be considered, but data on darker skin remain limited and the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation still exists. Mention your Fitzpatrick type when you contact the clinic.
Can I be treated on the day of my consultation?
Many treatments can often follow the consultation directly. Ask when you book whether Sylfirm can be scheduled on the same day as your scan.
Do I need to speak Korean?
No. Consultations are available in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and the clinic's own staff interpret. Contact the clinic on WhatsApp before you come so a companion can be scheduled.
Do flights and hotels count in the calculation?
They aren't on the clinic's bill, but they shape your total budget if the plan needs more than one trip. Work them out together with the number of visits you intend.
