I'm writing this because a common mistake in trip plans is booking Rejuran the day before the event that matters, on the belief that the marks vanish within an hour.
Here is the short version. For many people the raised injection bumps flatten within about a day, light redness settles in one to two days, and a pinpoint bruise, if one appears, can take around a week to fade. So leave at least two clear days between Rejuran and anything you want to be photographed at, and more if you bruise easily.

Rejuran recovery day by day: what does the skin usually do?
Rejuran is a polynucleotide (PN) injection, made from purified DNA fragments and placed in many small deposits just under the surface. Reviews of polynucleotide treatments describe them as supporting tissue repair, and the side effects they report are mostly mild and short-lived: redness, swelling, small raised papules and bruising at the injection points. On the face, those usually play out like this.

The thing most people miss is that the bumps and the bruises run on different clocks. The bumps are the product itself, a small volume of liquid sitting in the skin, and they flatten as the tissue takes it up. A bruise happens when the needle passes a tiny vessel, so it follows the timetable of any bruise, however fast the bumps went down.
Under the eyes the skin is thinner. With Rejuran i, the same small bruise shows more, and morning puffiness can linger a little longer. If the under-eye area is your main concern, give it the extra day.
How many days should you leave before an event or a flight?
The flight itself rarely matters. Sitting on a plane with faint bumps does the skin no harm; cabin air is dry, so bring a plain moisturizer and use it. What decides the date is the event: a wedding, a reunion, family photos.
Say you land in Seoul on a Thursday evening, have a cousin's wedding on Saturday afternoon, and fly home on Tuesday. Putting Rejuran on Friday means walking into the wedding on day 1, with faint dots and the chance of a bruise surfacing. Putting it on Monday leaves the wedding photos untouched, and by Tuesday's flight most of the bumps have flattened. Sunday is out either way, because we're closed on Sundays and public holidays.
That is why planning your Rejuran recovery day by day starts from the calendar after the treatment, not before it. Boosters can usually be done straight after the consultation, so one visit can cover both. Before you book, send your flight times and the medicines and supplements you take, including blood thinners or fish oil, and ask which day of your stay leaves the most room. Those two details change the bruising risk more than anything else on the menu.
Methods: hand injection, Rejuran i, Rejuran HB and Dermashine
Our menu lists Rejuran in a few forms, and each shifts the days a little:
- Rejuran by hand injection. Many small deposits across the area, one needle point at a time. This gives the most visible bumps on the treatment day and day 1.
- Rejuran i. Made for the under-eye area. The skin is thinner, so plan the extra day for bruising and puffiness.
- Rejuran HB. Listed on our menu as a low-pain type, worth asking about if needles are the part that worries you. The recovery days are broadly similar.
- Rejuran with [Dermashine](treatment:doubletite). The product goes in through a multi-needle device. Many people find the marks finer and more even, though the whole area can look pink for the rest of the day.

What do Rejuran reviews get right about recovery?
Review threads tend to repeat three claims.
"The bumps are gone by the next morning." Often true for the raised points, but not for bruises, which take several days. A review written the morning after rarely comes back to report day 4.
"It stings more than other boosters." Many people do find it uncomfortable, mainly over bone and under the eyes. Numbing cream is commonly used, and the HB type exists for exactly this worry.
"My skin glowed the next day." Part of the early fullness is simply fluid in the skin. Studies of polynucleotides measure change over weeks, usually after a course of sessions, so an overnight glow is not the result to judge by.
What decides the cost of Rejuran for your case?
I would rather you know what you are paying for than see a headline figure. For Rejuran, these are what move the cost:
- The amount, counted in cc, which depends on the area and how much your skin needs.
- The type: standard Rejuran, Rejuran i for the eyes, or the HB low-pain type.
- Delivery by hand or with Dermashine, which carries a tip fee.
- How many sessions the plan includes, and whether they fit one stay or need return visits.

Risks and side effects to know before you fly
Common and temporary: bumps for about a day, redness for one to two days, tenderness, mild swelling, and occasional bruises that fade over roughly a week. Recovery differs from person to person, and the in-person exam decides whether Rejuran suits you at all.
As general medical guidance, it is wiser to wait or skip it with:
- an active breakout, infection or cold sore where the injections would go
- a laser treatment or peel in the past couple of weeks
- isotretinoin taken now or recently
- pregnancy or breastfeeding
- an allergy to fish, since the polynucleotides in Rejuran are salmon-derived
If you take blood thinners, don't stop them on your own; tell us about them, along with any recent fillers or medication that affects healing.
After you fly home, a bump that grows instead of shrinking, rising pain, warmth or spreading redness after day 3, or a fever are reasons to see a doctor locally without waiting. The US CDC advises medical travelers to keep copies of their treatment records and to plan follow-up care before they leave, so ask for a note of the product and amount used and keep it with your passport. Questions patients ask
Can I wear makeup the day after Rejuran?
For most people light makeup is fine from the next day, once the injection points have closed. On the treatment day itself, leave the skin bare and keep skincare plain.
Is it all right to fly the day after the injections?
Generally yes. Faint bumps or a small bruise do not affect flying. Cabin air is dry, so a plain moisturizer during the flight helps the skin feel more comfortable.
Can I have Rejuran on the same day as my consultation?
Often, yes. Boosters can usually be done straight after the consultation, which suits a short stay in Seoul.
Should I avoid alcohol, sauna or hard exercise afterwards?
As general advice, skip alcohol, saunas and hard workouts for the first day or two, since heat and raised blood flow can make swelling and bruising more noticeable.
When will I see a change in my skin?
The bumps are not the result. Changes in texture and fine lines build gradually over the following weeks, and polynucleotides are usually given as a course rather than a single session.
How soon will I get a reply on WhatsApp?
