Rejuran how long to heal: is that the question stopping you from booking, because your skin bruises at the slightest touch and your flight home leaves a few days later?

Read this before you pick your treatment day.

You'll know what each kind of mark does day by day, what reviews get right, how the methods differ and what decides the cost, so you can choose a day that fits your skin and your budget.

Hello, I'm Dr. Jang Dong-hoon, Founder & Medical Director of THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul.

I consult, plan and treat here, and the consultation begins with a 3D scan of your skin, ahead of any price list. Consultations run in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

I wrote this because people plan around the bumps, which usually go first, and forget the bruises, which are what follow them onto the plane.

Bumps from Rejuran usually flatten within 1 to 3 days. A bruise can take about a week, sometimes two on thin skin, and the repair underneath runs for weeks after the surface looks settled.

If your skin has marked badly before, send one daylight photo of the area on WhatsApp with your flight date, and ask which day you should be treated.

Three clocks start after a Rejuran session

Rejuran is a polynucleotide, a thick liquid placed in small deposits in the upper skin. Each deposit lifts the surface until the liquid spreads, and that lift is the bump. A bruise has a different cause: the needle meets a small vessel, a little blood leaks, and your body clears it slowly.

The third clock is repair. Boosters ask the skin to make its own collagen, and that work takes weeks whatever the surface looks like. I cover that longer stretch in how long Rejuran lasts and how it fits your Seoul days.

So Rejuran how long to heal has three answers, and only the first two touch your flight. Published reviews of polynucleotide injections describe side effects as mostly mild and temporary. That fits what doctors generally expect, though mild tells you little about a bruise on thin skin in your boarding queue.

Rejuran how long to heal, day by day

In short, these are general ranges for many people. Your own skin may run faster or slower.

Rejuran how long to heal, day by day

Days 1 to 3Bumps flatten; a bruise may darkenWalking around Seoul is usually fine, with a little concealer once the points have closed

The skin under the eyes is thin and shows blood readily, so a bruise there usually outlasts one on the cheek. The session itself is laid out in the Rejuran procedure steps in order.

What helps at home in the first 3 days

General aftercare is short, and most of it is about leaving your skin alone. Ask your injector about anything specific to your session.

  • Leave the bumps alone. No massage, rollers or pressing; the liquid spreads by itself.
  • Skip saunas, hot baths, hard exercise and alcohol for about 2 to 3 days, since heat and alcohol can make swelling and bruising worse.
  • Hold makeup until the needle points have closed, commonly the next day.
  • Pause retinoids and acid exfoliants for a few days. Use a mild cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen.
  • Use a cold pack wrapped in cloth, in short spells, on the first day.
  • Sleep with your head a little raised on the first night.

Medicines matter more than any of those if you bruise easily. Aspirin, blood thinners, fish oil and vitamin E can all make a bruise bigger, so tell your doctor about each one. Never stop a prescribed blood thinner without asking the doctor who prescribed it.

Say you bruise easily and fly home on Monday

Say you land Thursday night, and you know a bruise usually stays with you for 8 days. The clinic opens at 10:30 on Friday, and boosters can often be done straight after the consultation. A Friday morning session gives you Saturday and Sunday before the Monday flight.

On that plan I would expect the bumps to have flattened for many people, while a bruise could still show at the airport. If the under-eye area is on your list and something important follows the trip, I would treat the cheeks now and save the eyes for a longer stay.

Mind the calendar too. We close at 16:30 on Saturdays and all day on Sundays, so raise any concern about your skin before Saturday afternoon. There's no patient parking, so come by subway to Nonhyeon Station, Exit 5, a 2-minute walk, or by taxi. You can see more about the clinic on THE Beautiful Clinic's English home page.

List what you take, supplements included, with your landing and departure times in a WhatsApp message, then ask which treatment day leaves you the most room.

Does the Rejuran method change the healing?

The Rejuran treatment page sits within our skin boosters, and our menu lists four forms: Rejuran, Rejuran i for the eye area, Rejuran HB as a low-pain type, and Rejuran delivered with Dermashine.

Hand injection places separate deposits, so you see separate bumps. A multi-needle device such as Dermashine generally places smaller, shallower amounts in a regular pattern, which usually reads as a grid of fine marks. Low-pain describes how the injection feels, so don't assume it heals sooner.

If your real problem is a date, the product question may matter less than you think. Other boosters run to their own timeline, as you can see in the day-by-day Juvelook recovery guide. The same treatment is not repeated on everybody, so I would choose by your skin and your calendar together.

What do Rejuran reviews get right and wrong?

Three claims come up again and again in public reviews and forum threads.

The bumps were gone by morning. This can be true, especially with small deposits on thicker skin. It's not a fair expectation for everyone, and it says nothing about bruises.

Bigger bumps mean more product is working. Medically there's no good reason to believe that. Bump size mostly reflects how much liquid went into one point, how deep it sits and how thin your skin is.

There's no downtime. You can usually work and walk around, so that's fair for daily function. It's less fair if you have photos or a meeting the next day. Threads asking about Rejuran how long to heal often disagree simply because each writer counts a different clock.

Risks and side effects to know

Common temporary reactions are redness, swelling, tenderness, bumps and bruising, which usually fade within days to about two weeks. The fuller picture is in how long Rejuran bumps last and who should wait. Healing and results differ from person to person.

As general medicine, these are reasons to wait or skip it:

  • Infection or active inflammation at the treatment site
  • A recent laser or peel on the same area
  • Isotretinoin, now or recently
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Allergy to fish or salmon, since polynucleotides are commonly derived from salmon DNA

If a reaction appears after you fly home, photograph it and message the clinic. See a local doctor promptly for spreading redness, heat, worsening pain, pus or fever. Bring your treatment record with the product name, date and areas. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises medical travelers to keep copies of their records and arrange follow-up care at home before leaving.

What decides the cost of your Rejuran?

Cost moves with a handful of choices, and four of them matter most for you:

  1. The type: Rejuran, Rejuran i or Rejuran HB.
  2. The amount, since our menu lists Rejuran by the cc.
  3. The delivery, because Dermashine adds a tip fee.
  4. How many areas and sessions you plan across your trips.

Ask on WhatsApp what it would cost for your case, with a photo of the area, and ask for a range in advance.

One photo is enough for a first message, and you can ask before booking anything. Add how long your last bruise lasted. The clinic answers in English or Bahasa Indonesia within 24 business hours. When you come, I'll start with the 3D scan and recommend what fits your skin and your flight.

The short version

  1. Bumps usually flatten within 1 to 3 days for many people.
  2. A bruise can take about a week, and sometimes two on thin skin.
  3. Skin repair carries on for weeks after the surface looks settled.
  4. Your own past bruising is a useful guide to choosing a treatment day.
  5. Cost moves with the Rejuran type, the amount in cc and the delivery method.

Questions patients ask

Can I fly the day after Rejuran?

There's no general medical rule against it for most healthy people, since the injections are shallow. The bigger issue is how you'll look and feel. Bumps may still be visible, and a bruise can darken over the first two days, so leave more room if your skin marks easily.

When can I wear makeup again?

Commonly from the next day, once the needle points have closed. Use clean brushes or sponges and go lightly over the treated points. Ask your injector if the skin still looks open or irritated.

Why do under-eye marks stay longer than cheek marks?

Under-eye skin is thin and sits over many small vessels, so blood shows through more readily. A bruise there can take up to about two weeks to clear, though many are shorter.

Should I worry if a bump is still there after a week?

A bump that grows, hurts, turns hot or drains needs a doctor's look promptly. Message the clinic with a photo and see a local doctor if you have those signs.

How much does a Rejuran session cost in Seoul?

It varies with the type, the amount in cc, the delivery method and the number of areas, so one headline figure wouldn't fit everyone. Send a photo on WhatsApp and ask for a range for your own case.

Do I need to speak Korean at the consultation?

No. Consultations run in English and Bahasa Indonesia, and you can message on WhatsApp before you come.

Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
