Volnewmer Korea price list: what do shot counts mean? Reviews, method, recovery

A number on a Volnewmer price list only means something once you know how many shots your face needs. Our clinic lists it in 4 shot-count options, from 100 to 900.

You already have a “volnewmer korea price list” from a clinic in Seoul, but you're still unsure: are 300 shots enough for your face, or more than a four-day trip budget needs?

If your ticket is booked and your treatment money is set aside, the part about shot counts and cost factors is the one to read before you message any clinic.

Four things that confuse people most are answered here: what each number on a Volnewmer price list means, which review claims are true and which aren't, how the method works in the skin, and what recovery looks like before your flight home. From there you can judge how many shots are worth discussing.

Hello, I'm Dr. Jang Dong-hoon, Founder & Medical Director of THE Beautiful Clinic in Seoul. I'm a member of the Korean Society for Laser Medicine and the Korean Society of Aesthetic Surgery.

At our clinic, I consult, plan and treat myself, with no counsellors selling packages. The consultation begins with a 3D skin scan, not with a price list. You can write in English or Bahasa Indonesia on WhatsApp, and the clinic answers within 24 business hours.

The most common mistake is comparing one line of numbers on a price list without knowing how many shots the face actually needs, so the two numbers being compared don't measure the same thing.

The Volnewmer price list at our clinic is written per shot count, in four options: 100, 300, 600 and 900 shots. The figures exclude 10% VAT, and the final price is set at the consultation, after the scan shows the size of the area and the condition of your skin.

If you want to know a realistic shot count for your face, send one front-facing photo taken in daylight on WhatsApp, along with your dates in Seoul, and ask: “How many shots make sense for my cheeks and jawline?” That photo and those dates make your cost question concrete from the first message.

Volnewmer Korea price list: what is actually written on it?

A price list for an energy device usually looks simple: the device name, the shot count, then a number. What isn't written is what decides whether that number fits you. I prefer prices written per shot count, because that way you can check what you're really paying for and ask about it precisely.

The figure for each option is in the article cost for each Volnewmer shot count at our Seoul clinic. This one is about how to read those figures so you don't pick the wrong line.

How does Volnewmer work, and why does that change the shot count?

Volnewmer is a 6.78 MHz monopolar RF device that delivers energy into the deep dermis. The heat coagulates tissue in a controlled way, and collagen rebuilds through the healing process that follows. Because density and volume recover together, slightly hollow areas often look fuller without filler.

Three details of this device relate directly to comfort and to how shots are counted:

  • Hidden-edge tip. On a conventional RF tip, surface irritation most often starts at the edge. Volnewmer recesses that edge so energy lands evenly.
  • Continuous water cooling. Cooling runs throughout the pulse, not only between pulses, so the heat load is spread and deep delivery stays stable.
  • Four tips on a 360° tilting head. The I (0.25 cm²), F (3.0 cm²), V (4.0 cm²) and S (16.0 cm²) tips follow the curve of the face.

This means one shot on a large tip and one shot on a small tip cover different surface areas. That's why I decide the area and depth first, and the shot count second. When you read a price list, ask which tip your shot count assumes.

If you're still weighing another monopolar RF, the comparison Volnewmer or Thermage in Seoul covers when each one makes more sense. The full specifications are on the Volnewmer treatment page.

What decides the cost for your face

The number on the price list is only a starting point. For your own face, the cost moves because of these five things:

  1. Size of the area. Cheeks and jawline need more shots than one small area, so the areas you discuss decide which shot option is relevant.
  2. Skin condition on the 3D scan. Skin that has already lost a lot of density and skin that is only starting to loosen don't get the same plan.
  3. Volnewmer alone or combined. In THE Beautiful Total Lifting programme, several devices are staged by depth: the dermis, the fat layer and the SMAS. A combined plan is priced differently from a single device.
  4. Number of visits on your trip. In Total Lifting, devices are sequenced across one or more visits rather than stacked in a single afternoon. How many days you have in Seoul helps decide what fits.
  5. VAT and interpreting. The list figures exclude 10% VAT. Interpreting adds nothing to the cost: clinic staff interpret at no charge, arranged for your appointment time.

When you compare a “volnewmer korea price list” from several clinics, first line up three things: the shot count, the tip used, and whether the figure includes VAT. The same questions help at high-volume clinics, and what to check before booking at a Korean factory clinic goes further. Similar logic applies to other devices, as in what decides the cost of Sylfirm in Korea.

For the figure in your own case, ask on WhatsApp what it would cost for your face, with one photo. The address, opening hours and treatment list are also on THE Beautiful Clinic home page in Bahasa Indonesia.

Example: a four-day trip on a fixed budget

Say you're 27, working in Jakarta, with four days in Seoul and a treatment budget that's already fixed. Your lower cheeks are starting to feel less firm and your jawline has softened slightly. You open a “volnewmer korea price list” and your eye goes straight to the largest shot option because it sounds more convincing.

In that situation, I would look at the scan first. If the dermis still has reasonable density and your concern is mainly texture or mild laxity, I would rather choose a smaller shot count and judge the result on your next visit than spend your budget on shots you don't need. If what shows up is actually fat in the lower cheek, another device at the clinic may make more sense for that concern.

If you want a plan that fits your budget and your days, include one side photo in daylight, and note whether you've had filler or a thread lift in the last six months. Those two things make your question about shot count far more complete.

What do reviews say, and which claims are true?

Threads and videos that come up when you search “volnewmer korea price list” tend to repeat the same claims:

  • “Tight straight after one session.” Partly true. Heated collagen can contract right away, but new collagen forms during the healing phase, so the main change comes gradually over weeks to months.
  • “More shots, better results.” Not accurate. The shot count follows the area and the skin condition. Extra shots on an area that doesn't need them only add cost.
  • “It hurts a lot.” The sensation is moderate, with cooling and vibration accompanying each pulse.
  • “No downtime.” Nearly true. Volnewmer recovery is minimal, but brief redness or mild swelling can still happen. A consensus panel on monopolar RF in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (2020) describes non-ablative RF as having minimal to zero downtime.

How many days of recovery before you fly home?

Because Volnewmer recovery is minimal, the clinic's schedule matters more on a short trip. The clinic is open Monday to Thursday from 10:30 to 19:30, Friday from 10:30 to 20:30, and Saturday from 10:30 to 16:30 with no lunch break. On weekdays, lunch is from 13:00 to 14:00. The clinic is closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays.

The clinic is on the 2nd floor of the Jinryeong Building, 545-12 Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, about a 2-minute walk from Exit 5 of Nonhyeon Station (Sinbundang Line). There is no patient parking, so come by subway or taxi.

If you land on Thursday night, Friday and Saturday are your two clinic days before Sunday. As general advice, leave at least one day between your session and your flight home in case your skin is still flushed. Volnewmer results usually last 6 to 12 months, and the same consensus panel suggests repeating monopolar RF about once a year.

Once you're back in a tropical climate, protect your skin from the sun and avoid excess heat in the first days. For energy sessions in the Total Lifting programme, the clinic asks patients to avoid sauna, hot yoga and long sun exposure for three days after each session. Ask whether the same advice applies to your Volnewmer plan.

Risks and side effects to know

Common temporary reactions are redness, warmth or mild swelling, which usually settle within hours to a few days. The 2020 consensus panel calls side effects of monopolar RF very rare and generally mild, with superficial burns as the main risk, prevented by inspecting the tip and using correct technique. How visible the change is and how long it lasts differ from person to person.

It's sensible to wait, or discuss it with the doctor first, if:

  • there is an infection, inflamed acne or a wound in the area to be treated;
  • your skin is still red after a recent fractional laser or peel;
  • you are pregnant or breastfeeding;
  • you have a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device, since RF devices are generally avoided in these cases;
  • you recently had filler or a thread lift, because the energy needs to be planned around it.

If, after you get home, you notice blistering, pain that gets worse, or swelling that hasn't settled after about a week, see a dermatologist in your city and send a photo of the area to the clinic's WhatsApp with your session date. Keep your treatment record: the device, tip, shot count and date. The CDC advises people who travel abroad for treatment to bring copies of their medical records for their doctor at home.

The first message you can send today

If a “volnewmer korea price list” is already in your hands, your first message doesn't need to be long. Write down which energy treatments or injections you've had and when, then ask: “If I can come in only once on this trip, what makes sense for my face?” You can write in Bahasa Indonesia or English, the clinic answers within 24 business hours, and on Saturdays the clinic is open until 16:30.

On the treatment booking page, you can also tick the treatments you want looked at. According to that page, a list sent on WhatsApp is answered with a plan, a realistic sequence and a price range. When you come in, we start with the 3D scan, and what I look for there is the density of the dermis in your cheeks and where the hollowing begins, because that is what lets a Volnewmer shot count be set sensibly.

The short version

  1. The Volnewmer price list comes in four shot-count options and excludes 10% VAT.
  2. One shot on a large tip and one on a small tip cover different areas, so ask which tip your count assumes.
  3. Cost depends on the area, your skin condition, combined devices and the number of visits.
  4. Volnewmer recovery is minimal, and results usually last 6 to 12 months.
  5. Send a face photo and your Seoul dates on WhatsApp to ask what your own case would cost.

Questions patients ask

Can I pay for or reserve shots online before I travel?

No. The price is set at the consultation and payment happens at the clinic, not online. Before you travel, you only need to send the list of treatments you want looked at on WhatsApp.

Do I need numbing cream for Volnewmer?

The sensation of Volnewmer is moderate, with water cooling and vibration accompanying each pulse. If you're sensitive to heat, ask at the consultation whether topical numbing is advisable for your area.

When will I need to repeat Volnewmer?

Results usually last 6 to 12 months. A consensus panel on monopolar RF suggests repeating about once a year, with an optional touch-up at six months, so plan your next trip within that window.

I've had filler in my cheeks. Can I still have Volnewmer?

According to the consensus panel, monopolar RF can be used in people who have had or will have filler, based on the doctor's judgment. Fillers differ in how long they last, so mention the type and date of your filler so the energy can be planned around it.

Can Volnewmer be combined with a laser on the same trip?

It can be planned, but the order matters. Monopolar RF should not be done on skin that is still red, for example right after a fractional laser. Ask about a sensible order and spacing for your dates.

My English isn't fluent. How will communication work at the clinic?

You can write on WhatsApp in Bahasa Indonesia or English. At the clinic, staff interpret for you, arranged for your appointment time.

Results and recovery vary between individuals, and every treatment can have side effects. Prices are from the clinic's price list and are confirmed at consultation. This article is general information, not a diagnosis.
