Most people who type Oligio Korea into a search box have already read that it lifts, and still cannot tell whether it is the machine their own face needs. The question underneath is simpler than the brand names suggest: has your skin lost firmness at the surface, or has something deeper dropped?
Oligio answers the first of those. It is a monopolar radiofrequency device that works in the dermis, the layer that holds the spring in skin. It does not reach the fascia a surgeon would tighten, and no honest page should imply that it does.
Oligio Korea pages rarely say which tip is used, how many shots you are paying for, or who holds the handpiece. What Oligio is, in plain words
Oligio delivers monopolar RF into the dermis. Skin tightening with radiofrequency happens in that layer, not on the surface and not at the fascia, which is the single fact that decides whether this device suits you.
Contact gas cooling holds the surface temperature steady while the energy goes deeper, and a vibration runs alongside it to dampen what the nerve endings register. Together they take most of the sting out, and the sensation stays low to moderate.
The handpiece also senses skin condition and modulates output as it moves. That is why we treat it as a reasonable first radiofrequency session for skin that is sensitive or reactive, rather than starting such a patient on something heavier.

These are list prices in Korean won, and the final figure is confirmed at consultation. The figure worth comparing between clinics is the price of a stated shot count, not the price of a visit, because a visit can contain any number of shots.

Who Oligio suits, and who should ask us first
State the limit before the benefit. Oligio is a dermal treatment, and it will not do the work of a platform that reaches further down.
- It fits skin that has thinned and lost spring at the surface, with fine lines and rough texture along the cheek and jaw.
- It fits reactive or sensitive skin, because the gas cooling and the vibration keep the sensation low to moderate.
- It fits thin lid skin through the dedicated eye tip.
- It does not fit a face whose heaviness starts below the fat pad. HIFU to the SMAS is the honest answer there, and Ultherapy Prime is the platform we would use.

Tell us your medical history in consultation before we set an energy level. Mention recent fillers, isotretinoin, or any medication that affects healing, and tell us if you have had radiofrequency elsewhere in the last few months.
Before, during and after an Oligio session
- Before. Come with clean skin and no makeup if you can, and bring the list of anything you are taking. Message your dates first so the room and the time are held for you.
- Consultation. We look at where the laxity sits, choose the face tip or the eye tip, and set the shot count. Ask for a range before you agree to anything.
- In the chair. You feel warmth with a cooled, vibrating handpiece passing over the area. The sensation is low to moderate, and no anaesthetic cream is part of the plan for this device.
- Straight afterwards. Downtime is none. You can keep your dinner reservation, and a flight the next morning is not a problem.
- Weeks after. Collagen builds quietly. Judge the result around week eight rather than the next morning, and expect it to hold 6–12 months.
Practical details matter more than most pages admit. We are a two-minute walk from Nonhyeon Station, Exit 5, on Gangnam-daero, with free parking in the building for patients.
We open 10:30 to 19:30 Monday to Thursday, to 20:30 on Friday and to 16:30 on Saturday, with lunch 13:00 to 14:00 and no lunch break on Saturdays. Sundays and public holidays are closed, so a short stay that falls over a Sunday has one day fewer in it.
Oligio, Thermage FLX or Volnewmer?
Most Oligio Korea comparisons stop at the shot count, which is the least useful place to stop. All three of these are monopolar radiofrequency, and they differ in how the energy is delivered and how the session is counted.

Thermage is counted against a certified tip, which is why its line starts at a full-face 600 shots rather than at 100. Around the eyes, Eye Thermage is listed at 990,000 KRW for 255 shots on the same 20 August 2026 list, while Oligio uses its own eye tip within the shot counts above.
